1st injection smooooth...but broke a friggin amp...

Brothers ~

First time injection just now - once I had the test drawn up, I injected, aspirated, and massaged my right ass cheek. Not a big deal, only took a couple of minutes, a little sting, a couple of drops of blood, and very mild soreness in the now 15 minutes since the shot.

What I am pissed about was that I broke the 1st fucking amp. Fucking Galenika amps are made of cement. I scored it a bit with a serrated knife, then put a bic pen cap on it, AND THE FUCKING PEN CAP BROKE!

I get another cap, score the amp some more, and put more tourque into in this time - and the fucking amp burst in my hand.

So being industrious, I go the garage and get the needle nose wire cutters. That did the trick, though there was more broken glass than I would have liked...

So, anyway, that is the story of my 1st injection. No anxiety, no 3 hours to psyche up, no rapid heart rate, no 911 calls, just a broken fucking amp...

you should get a scoring stick, it's about 1 inch long, very sharp; generally, knifes don't do the trick.

I have never personally opened one myself, but I watched my doctor open it and it seemed a bit tricky. He was putting a little torque on the top of the amp while trying not to squeeze the bottom half to hard. Personally, i'd go for the amp opener myself.

I take a small triangular file and roll the amp along one of the points...pop the sharpie marker cap on it and viola! To an onlooker, it would almost appear that I know what I'm doing.

hmmm broke it.Try using a small sanding disk like from a dremel the round ones.Go a round it like 3 times real good and hard,make sure you cut the pencap long part off then just pop it, should come right off easy with a pop.Knife aint going to work thats for sure its not going to do anything to glass.Any kind of small grinding disk will work... Or a nailfile the bending kind.

seriously though - use a file. A knife won't even scratch the glass hardly. Fold a clean towel in half, pick up the vial with the towel, keep it upright and fold it in the middle using the tips of your thumbs. Works everytime for me

I thought about mounting a Dremel tool in a vise and turning the amp a few times at a low RMP...hmmm...we may be on to something here.

Thanks bros! I like the file idea...Will get one before the next inject. By the way, it is now about 3 hours since I stuck myself, no pain, just a small tinge of soreness to know that it is there...otherwise I am all good.
