11/18 *Patriots Remain Unbeaten '07 Season Special*

  • Thread starter Thread starter Spartacus
  • Start date Start date
closes at kickoff of sunday night's new england in buffalo game
winning "no" bets payoff as soon as Pats suffer a loss
winning "yes" bets payoff at the end of the regular season
which would be a new england victory over the NYGiants on saturday night(12/29) in new york on the final weekend of the regular season

I found this at betus.com

New England Patriots Exact Reg Season Record 16 - 0 EV 15 - 1 +120 14 - 2 +500 13 - 3 +120 12 - 4 +4000 11 - 5 +10000 10 - 6 +50000

so 16-0 is rated at "ev" or even or 1-1

I'm not doing a straight 1-1 cause then spartacus doesn't get a slice
you get 9-10
I take a 10% cut from winning action

in the old days a bookie adds 10% to losing action
but now with the internet it's changed
e.g. you bet 100 and lose, you lose your 100
whereas before the book would add 10% and thus your 100 loss translates to -110
if you bet 100 and win you typically win less than that 100
sometimes it'll be listed
-105
-110
-115

what's they're odds at winning the SB? It had to go up big time after Freeney got put on IR. "IF" the colts even get to the playoffs.......they're not going to have Harrison, Freeney, Sanders and some other guy I can't think of right now. Anyway, they're finished......all things equal I still think they beat the pats in a shootout, but not with those injuries. The colts are a team that has to have all it's ace's where the pats are deeper and can win in more ways..........no way they don't win the SB now.
