100% egg white powder is foul

I love egg white protein and have used it for years. Even the cheap stuff at GNC tastes great. If you hate it it must be good.
 
I used the GNC egg and whey combo protein for years. Great stuff and cheap. I use metabolic nutrition now. Stuff mixes perfect, tastes great and no aspertame and NO gas or upset stomach. It is the pefect protein in my opinion.
 
i agree wayneboard but this stuff isnt flavoured, its just pasteriused sprayed egg white powder. egg and whey is great stuff as its flavoured and has a great mix of proteins for released bioavalibility but this stuff i bought is really rough!
 
i just started using it. you cant have it plain. gotta mix with some whey or else its undrinkable. you can get from supplementdirect.

This is true. I found the best way to make it taste good to to mix it in a blender with some chocolate chip ice cream. :)
 
mm, that sounds good. i cant remember where i read it, but i use it in my protein pancakes. .5 cup oats, 4-6 eggwhites, and .25 cup of eggwhite powder. blend it up and cook like a pancake. tastes pretty damn good.

Actually I use the Optimum vanilla egg white protein, it's not that bad at all.
 
Oh man! I used to use that stuff years ago when protein powders were still relatively new. It tasted like puke, and had this bright flourecent yellow color. Wait till you start fartin from that stuff, that's just as bad!

Optimum is great when you mix a scoop of optimum whey chocolate with it.

why don't you just buy the eggs whites that come in a carton. it's not the eggbeaters, eggbeaters are fuckin nasty, they are just 100% egg whites. i found them at wal-mart.
 
Local bodybuilders in my area use straight egg Albumin ...

Albumin is the major protein constituent of egg white ..

On a bulking cycle 3 x 500ml a day will give you enough protein to build just about anything ....

The local brand around here is called Vanerpol's Egg Albumin

for some reason...I just like the real thing when it comes to egg protien. I guess it helps when I get all the egg that I can eat for free. My parents have a bunch of chickens and the only thing I have to do is save the old egg cartons.

Anyway, I usually mix a bunch of "Those Nasty Eggs" as the wife calls them. I will take about 3 or 4 dozen eggs and break them into a gallon jar. I use 4 to 1 ratio with whites to yokes. I just pour some out in the pan and cook them up and it tastes great. I think that it comes out to about 5 1/2 eggs per cup of the mix.
 
Guvna.....bro is that stuff edible. I mean for 60$ 1850+ Egg whites....is that stuff safe to eat...its got to taste like crap.....?

I used them for the last 2 years. I just switched back to whey because my farts were getting outrageous.


It is no better or worse than any other egg protein out there. Actually, I would call it better because the only ingedients are eggs whites. That is all. It does not have any artificial sweeteners or anything in them. I like to flavor my proteins myself, however I was feel that day. However, if you like your protein to come with a flavor, this is not the stuff to get.
 
Hold on...this is protein? I thought this is powder for me to throw on the pan and make egg whites?

That is the way to go. They are called All Whites. Pretty much tasteless. Goes down like water. Pop the top, slam em down.

What? Wallmart? Which Isle... You can drink this? You not supposed to drink raw eggs.
Bro can you give me a detailed description of this "All Whites" is it a protein drink....is it powder...or is it liquid egg whites like eggbeaters.

How many egg whites in this All Whites and whats the $?

i don't know if you can drink what i have. it comes in a little blue carton and says "egg whites" on it. its just 100% egg whites. i cook mine. they are pretty much the same thing as cracking eggs and separating the yokes but easier and cheeper. i don't remember the exact price but it was definantly under $2.
