I read that totally cuttin out carbs may be dangerous, our heart and brain need carbs for proper functioning. It also said that a human being should eat at least 100gms of carbs each day. So how does 0 carbs diet for 6 days is healthy???
 
according to dan duchaine in his ultimate diet handbook, you can have zero carbs for a few days a week then you must carb load for a day or 2-he says that depression and fatigue will become problems when first starting to eliminate carbs-because the brain does need some carbs to function properly
 
I believe that carbs are like the bodys gasoline. If i dont eat carbs i'll end up a burnt out cranky .

some body tissues require glucose to function...this does not mean that you have to actually eat carbs because protein can be converted into glucose
 
0 carbs..what a fuckin joke. Not even worth responding to in an intelligent manner. Sorry if that offends, but I'm chemically unbalanced right now...SO PISS OFF :mad:
 
Nobody ever said being a bodybuilder was completely healthy. O carbs is physically and mentally tiresome. 500grams of protein is a strain on the digestive system. 8000 cals when bulking is not the best diet. But to achieve the results you want, you have to be willing to go to some extremes. I have also read that 100grams of carbs is necessary to have proper brain function---but I never have more than 85grams of carbs daily when cutting.

Or you can eat a 40-30-30 diet and be healthy according to the government.

Dude no flame here but Men's Health is a joke. I think people who are not familar with fitness write for that magazine.
 
go ahead and do the 0 carb diet. Its alright. You can read mr x´s ckd manual. it should be healthy enough to do over an extended amount of time, plus you lose a good amount of fat.

Carbs are essential for
-Bulking
-DnP cycles (proper thyroid function etc)

but for cutting drug less its all good
