Approved Log Mens Physique prep Bodybuilding Cycle Log

First package from the sponsor @Buck Pharmaceuticals arrived today. Very lucky and appreciative to be given the opportunity to work alongside Buck and crush my goals with his assistance, hopefully many years of solid leans gains in all the right spots to come haha.

So plan is to swap out 200mg a week of my Mast for Bucks primo and hop straight onto his test e and tren once my pre loaded pins for the week are used.

Less than 6 weeks now until comp day, will be here before I know it.

So not my best day on prep today.

After walking around all day yesterday with a real stiff and tight lower back I woke up this morning with my lumbar locked up tight! I made the decision to pull the pin on work for the day which I'm sure would've aggravated it more had I gone. I ended up dropping my step count for the day, i still wanted to get some movement in just not the 15k steps I have been doing this past week. Also spent the morning using heat bags, spiky ball rolling and threw in some real gentle stretching, all that coupled with my good friend diclofenac seems to have loosened me up massively which is a win. I've got a leg session scheduled for this arvo which will now just be a few sets of leg extensions, standing leg curls and calf raises - any sign of lower back irritation during the work out and I'll pull the pin immediately - don't need legs for mens physique anyway haha.

On the plus side I pinned my sponsors gear for the first time today (thanks @Buck Pharmaceuticals)......smooth as silk!

@Buck Pharmaceuticals is looking the goods brother 👌
How many weeks are you out from the show now?

Weeks out 5 and change
Starting weight 85.8
Current weight 83.2
Weight change this week +0.3kg
Weight change on prep -2.6kg
Calories/Macros 2500 244P 252C 54F (ish)
Cardio 2 x week 20minutes on stepper, 30-60 min daily fasted steps, 15k total steps (except yesterday 8k)
S/Supps 500 test E 300 Mast P 300 primo100 tren ( All @Buck Pharmaceuticals except Mast) 3.3 GH
Fat burners/Mitos SLUPP332 10mg x 2, Mots c 5mg x twice a week (non EF lab), 100mg Mirabegron, 6mg Albuterol
Working with Gainsman and @Buck Pharmaceuticals

So another week down, change wise I've been hitting 15k steps every day (except yesterday- lower back issue), and just changed my cycle slightly to include primo, total mgs unchanged. Albuterol dosage also bumped up a touch to 6mg.

Body wise lower back still feeling pretty beaten up at the moment so it's something I'm going to have to manage going forward, think I will be better off taking calorie cuts over increases in expenditure going forward, always felt calorie cuts gave improved fat loss over equal amount of expenditure increase anyway.

Bodyweight increased despite getting more daily steps in and upping the albuterol, coach is way more focussed on the look than weight loss so interested to see if coach reckons I've tightened up anymore, I can't tell any more with my body dysmorphia running rampant at the moment haha, any way might be time for a food drop. On a positive note Sleep quality has improved a fair bit, I ended up tapering of my fluid intake from late arvo onwards and now only pee once during the night, still getting 5+ litres of fluids though.

I've got another posing session this afternoon, hopefully it's evident to the posing coach how much time I've been putting in. Im feeling way more confident with it now and much smoother in the transitions, I'm even remembering to smile and make imaginary eye contact with the judges and crowd.

Anyway that's about it for now. As always i will have Coaches feedback later today, I'm expecting that as we are pretty close now that minor changes will be coming in pretty frequently now. Things to potentially still come into mix include orals and Reta.

Thanks Koba. Yeah it's amazing how correct presentation and confidence can make so much difference to your look! So glad I didn't scrimp on posing sessions and just wing it my self haha

Alright got the feedback from the coach and got 2 changes to make, this shit is getting serious now haha.

- drop in cals from 2500 to 2250
- starting reta which should make the above a bit easier.

Never used reta before so really curious to see if the hype is real. Gonna run it at 2mg a week. Not sure yet how I'll split that but it will definately be over multiple days. Looking forward to picking up the pace a bit over this next little bit.

Reta is great!
You probably won't feel hungry at all which is perfect when you are a strict diet.
It helps with conditioning too by treating inflammation I would say.
I notice that the next day after taking it there is a drop in fluid retention & I appear more vascular.

Yeah OK interesting. How much do you run and how do you split it up over the week?

5 weeks out today.

Already been to the gym and done 20 mins fasted on the assault bike, and even already smashed out a heap of food prep as I'm up around 0400-0430 every day (even on weekends), I'm sleeping pretty well...just not very long, about 6 to 61/2 hours a night.

I'm hooking into a well deserved meal 1 as I write this (pic below). I've done a couple days on my new lower cals and took my first shot of reta yesterday, weight is already down about a kilo which is obviously just a shift in water with new diet. New meal plan is as follows.

1. 2 kangaroo patty's, 250g mix sauerkraut, kimchi, asparagus, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, 3g fish oil, 20g bran

2. Chicken bolognaise type thing 166g extra lean chicken mince,85g spinach, 15g olives, 25g red peppers,, 115g passatta, 25g sun dried tomato, 100g pumpkin, 100g veg rice

3. Pre work out 45g weetbix, 40g oats, 115g berries, 100g yopro, 28g whey, 10g chia, 20g bran

4. Post work out 125g chicken, 50g pea, corn, carrot mix, 130g beetroot, 40g mushroom, 575g carisma potato

5. Choc pumpkin pudding 20g casein, 20g whey, 100g cott cheese, 20g sug free drinking choc, 150g pumpkin, jellylite 4.5g, 20g bran, 1g xanthan, & side of 150g stir-fry fry veg mix

Daily totals
244P 223C 37F and 70 Fibre

Yeah OK interesting. How much do you run and how do you split it up over the week?I
I ran 1mg taken once per week when I did cut. I did up it to 2mg at one point but the decrease in appetite was too much.
I'm running 1mg now on a push moving into a health phase & it's in there purely for the health benefits being anti-inflamitory & for the effects that it has on blood sugar.
I plan on being on 4i:u of HGH per night permanently which could have a negative effect on blood sugar, so the Reta is in there for that reason also.
I'm taking it once per week which is the way that it was designed to be used & is being used in medical trials for the drug.

Interesting. Lots of people taking it in lots of different ways for different reasons, it's such an amaziing compound. My main interest in it was the Glucagon aspect and whether that would stabilise my energy levels, appetite wise I wasn't really struggling but wouldn't whinge if I was thinking about food less and was a bit more satisfied. Where I think it will really shine for me though will be post prep, coming out of cuts has always been harder for me than the cut itself. Thanks as always for the input koba.

Yeah mate, doing my best to keep them enjoyable....which ain't hard when you've been dieting for a few months already haha, everything tastes fricken awesome now
So true makes a big difference when you have been dieting for a while
