I know someone who is in OA (overeaters anonymous). The only way they can lose the weight is exercise and monitoring every bite of food that goes in their mouths for the rest of their life. A lot of people who admit to being overeaters, binge eaters, etc., have some very ugly personal problems (as an example, in my friend's case, her biological father started having sex with her when she was about 10).
