    Unfortunately, there's no one correct way to squat. A lot depends on specific bio mechanics. That will determine how wide your feet should be and also what angle your feet will be. Apart from the obvious high bar and low bar.

    a faster one mile will definitely carry over to longer distance stamina. another thing i'd suggest you look into is "tabata". this will definitely blow up your stamina!

    it's too much mate! biceps don't need to be hit with everything and 2 kitchen sinks. they get plenty of work from lat work. 3-6 sets of bicep iso work is what most of us would add in to finish it off.

    if i was a sports recruiter and i picked a kid who's bench numbers i got to know (and nothing else) i'd better start getting myself a clue.... because deads and squats are more complete tests of strength.

    once a week is fine for many less experienced lifters, less frequent for more advanced. the dead is a compound lift which effectively hits much more than just your lower back.... it hits your traps, lats, forearms, abs, glutes, hams, quads and to an extent even your biceps.

    it sounds like your abs are pretty weak. i can do these with a 15kg plate behind my head with decent form. why don't you try doing some crunches with the lat machine instead... i think you know the type i'm talking about. it hits your abs without stressing your lower back.

    there are probably LOADS of examples out there of lifters who were told their injury meant they'd NEVER lift. many of them came back to break their old records.... so i agree with whoever said to get a 2nd opinion, especially from someone who's more acquainted with lifting.

    lol @ ceo :D did you ask them how much time it takes? i've heard some people make an approximation that it takes a 1000 lifts to reach a reasonable level of competence. though i'm guessing you don't need to do all those 1000 with them. BTW, do you have access to rubber plates in your regular...
