That's why I'm fasting now on the weekends, after I've done my lifting for the week. And the fat melts off you. I've gone from 275-280 to 256 as of yesterday. No loss in strength. I've been doing some 5x5 workouts during these fasts.

    Yes! Pullups and dips and situps would be a sick workout alone! And why dont you talk to him over the phone, if he really wants to get into it he would talk to his parents himself... or wuoldnt they support him?

    Personally I think these are the best bodyweigth exercises: (no order)
    Decline Situp
    Hanging Knee/Leg Raise
    Plank
    Dips
    Pushups/Clap Pushups
    Diamond Pushups
    Dips
    Tricep Dips
    Chins
    Pullups
    Bodyweight Row
    Handstand Pushup
    Hypers
    Wall Squat Hold
    One Legged Calf Raise on step

    You could start him on something basic ie situps and pressups and slowly progress through them and set him targets ie manage 8 chins by next month or whatever

    Are you thinking of telling him to go to the gym and just use the bodyweight work? Or let him do it in his bedroom?
