So I'm here at work and my husband tells me via MSN that the embassy called him today so he'll go tomorrow to get his visa and passport signed for clearance to come...! Now I'm like sobbing and shaking, I'm so nervous and excited to see him, I have so much to do and prepare for him to get here and start Phase B of our new lives together :heart:

I asked my wife the same thing when we were both standing at the alter, by the way.

Let's hope they dont give him shit tomorrow and patch up details, we still need to know when he can travel, he needs to sell and move some things at home in CR and get a plane ticket!!!!!!!!

It's funny because all this time I've felt so strange, like this is my alternate universe in which I'm single, lonely and away, lets see how it feels when he's here, it should be so much better, I can finally go out and have fun ^_^

And yes, must shave wax and groom all sorts of unmentionables from head to toe :D

I have no idea what to do with him on our first weekend or upon arrival to the apartment.... weekend probably take him to the beach, the zoo and nice dinner (ceecee's pizza lol im kidding) I want to surprise him with something the day he gets here... I suck at surprises though I usually get it totally right or fail ;)

I came here on March 3rd, we did the whole process and they had us on standby for 2 extra months

@alcatraz nope I'll stick around.
 
excellent NG, I know your happy and relieved. As far as a surprise, my idea of the best surprise would be to not leave the bedroom for about 3 days, have my wife buy sexy outfits/ heels and extra astroglide. A few mirrors properly placed and I'm good. And, my favorite meal/ s. The sightseeing tour can wait.....

I expect some good stories down in the other forum, details, and pics. :-)

I told my husband I now had to break up with my boyfriend... he LOLed :D

Unfortunately the non stop sex wont be happening much... my mom came with me to the US while he got here so she's still here... it's a small apartment and I'm noisy... will have to wait when she's at work :D hopefully the downstairs neighbor wont complaint xD gotta start house hunting again now that I know he is REALLY coming ^_^

OK!!! Embassy signed passport and gave him the visa! We just bought him a plane ticket and he will be here Friday of next week! So soon OMG I'm so nervous
As soon as he comes though IMS they sign the passport again and he can immediately legally work, then in a couple of weeks his green card comes in the mail ^_^ it's all in such legal order, Im so happy :)

OMG so he get's here tomorrow, he has done nothing but bitch and moan, granted my family hasnt made it any easy (I sent him $ with my sister and she kept some... nice) but he's being such a douche like "this country better be as awesome as you say, this better be worth it" etc I understand he's sad, angry, frustrated, etc to leave the only thing/place he knows... also I cant pick him up at the airport, my mom is... he's not thrilled... :s hopefully shit gets better once he is here and I dont have to interact with my family anymore..... *sigh*

I'm back ^_^

So far he REALLY likes it :) liked the apartment, the people, had no trouble at all at the airport (after all this time we waited he got all his shit together so fuckers at IMS couldnt say a peep) I have taken him to the county zoo, a local mall, another outdoor mall, a flea market, Publix, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens and Dollar Store (he was amazed at the dollar store lol) keep in mind he has NEVER been to any of these places, I'm just trying to show him everyday stuff, where to buy things like our dog's food, our own food, etc I was going to take him to the beach yesterday but we had the shittiest weather.... will try for the beach again tomorrow, as soon as he gets his driver's license I'm getting a Floridian pass to Busch Gardens and Sea World (1 year pass to BOTH parks is like $75 and he LOVES animals and rides) He's asked me to take him to strange restaurants he's always heard of or seen in movies, etc like IHOP, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Golden Corral, etc :lmao:

Mom lived with us, she moved out today though (went to stay/work with our friends in Cape Canaveral) So I shall try to jump him today for the first time :D he should be getting his greencard/SSN in the mail i about 2-3 weeks.... I'm happy we did everything legally and it is FINALLY working out, we were literally separated for 6 exact months (Mar 3rd to Sept 3rd ,saw him 48 hours on July 3rd...)
