by the end of the fight i was bashin his skull because he was face down in the sand
wtf.....wow.....i hope this was worth it.
by the end of the fight i was bashin his skull because he was face down in the sand
He was drunk and talkin sht about how i was going to get knocked in two seconds, stuff just escalated. I told him he was 6 ft. tall 165 lbs. and that i would rock him if he tried anything. So he lost it and swung at me, that was the only punch that connected cause i wasn't expecting it, after that it was game over. Stupid fight that i regret over stupid alpha male competition.
Next time take a piss on them when they are on the ground lol1!1!!
fixed.
I thought it was a good idea at the time i could care less about some cuts and bruises but this is whack. It was totally not worth skipping training for weeks cause of my stupid hand and some gay ego trip.

Went to the gym today, very disappointing..
Front Squats( all I could do, had to balance bar on shoulders)
4 sets x 5 reps x 205
Went home and debated suicide. Are there any big weight movements I could do that does not require both hands to stabilize the weight? Should I do the leg press?
I would literally do WHATEVER I could. Heavy ass sets of 3x5 on leg press for strength would be awesome. Just dont go too heavy otherwise you will need to self spot and use your hands. Isnt 4x5x205 the same as you were doing before though? If you have to use machines, do so. Just get those workouts in man
You should feel special T-cock, I just added karma for the first time and it was to this post. Thats so true man, I think i'll just tear up the machines and who knows maybe I can continue makng gains. And yes T-block that was more weight then what I did before the broken hand, its only been 4 days since my last legit workout.
Good work though on increasing your fronts that must have been hard as shit to balanceyeah man I feel so special thanks for the 23 karma hit when I have 600,000 hahahhaGood work though on increasing your fronts that must have been hard as shit to balance
seriously though you should tear it up at the gym screaming and all and people will be like shit that is dedication hahahaha
lol @ thinking 600,000 karma is alot
yeah mike start gettign psyched and screaming while doing one legged leg extensions it will be funny as hell
But em you arent exactly one to talk for a platinum member 1,600,00 aint much. Still who the fuck cares about karma my deadlift is stronger than yours mike hahahahahahahah thats all that counts. Jk mike I'm messing with ya I hope you get better soon. I'm looking forward to seeing a legit 300 outta you on bench. I just hope I dont lose too much strength in my next trip1 handed squats are damn hard balancing the bar with heavy weights makes it impossible.
Everyone knows deadlifts are easier if your a lanky bastard like T-block.
All that matters is the arm length....height or anything else has no affect. Same with squats and bench....except the opposite. Shorter arms and legs equals lower range of motion on squats and bench, higher in deadlift
This is true but if your taller your arms will most likely be longer allowing you to pull the bar from a higher position with your legs.
I guess I'm just jealous, making excuses haha.
Tried some upperbody
Injuries And Bodybuilding 3:00 into the vid at the bottom
Did those with some weight, 4 sets
One armed push ups
the most I could get was 4, alot harder than they look
Pec Deck Machine
3 sets
Abs
At this point I'm just trying to keep my muscles active so they dont go into atrophy.

Also, I can do more 1 armed pushups than you.....jsut saying![]()
O T-cock what am I going to do with you, just for that snide remark I'll have to crank out a few more next workout.

Wow, I wont lie that is very impressive, but the guy must weigh 150 at the most. That stuff is pretty cool I will admit, is that what your trying to get into with the rangers?
nice to see the improvisation and unconventional exercises. I look forward to continuing to follow your log and hope you heal up soon so you can start killing it. I think that being in the gym without the main lifts will make you want to kill them that much more once you're back.
nice man glad the workouts are at least going well!
Thanks man just tryng to satisfy the iron bug until i Can go ful throttle again.
haha I like that "the iron bug" You have a cast right? When does that mofo come off?
2 more weeks, I haven't lost weight or mass but I definitely look alot less swole in the mirror than before when I was able to do upper body.
Good thing is that bone grows back stronger so it'll be much harder to get a boxers fracture again in this hand.
Upper body
-Pull up substitutes with weights
-One Arm Push-Ups
7,5,5,5
Last week I struggled to do a single one of these, the human body is amazing. I did rest a solid 3 minutes on the last few sets.
Hanging Knee- Ups and Decline Crunches w/ Weight
By the time my hand heals I'm sure my bench will be weak but my squat may be stronger due to the excessive front Squats I am doing. Overall I think I will be able to maintain my current appearence as long as I continue to give it my all in these weak ass workouts.
You're sure right on that part man
lol jk I'm liking your workouts mike! You should take a video of those 1 armed pushups. I'm gonna re add those in my routine I forgot how good they are
How long will your recovery take, buddy? What did the docs say about physiotherapy, etc?
The cast is only on for two more weeks which isn't even long enough to really benefit from physiotherapy. You'd be proud though Andy, I have really been adding the lbs. on my front squat and hav been finding clever ways to work around my injury.
Any suggestions on what I should do for lifting when the cast comes off?
Thanks for asking bro
Good stuff, Mike. What did the doctor say about your lifting though?
Then don't make plans till you talk to him. We can focus on a lot of unilateral exercises because they will minimized strength loss. But on the whole you're gonna have to wait and see what happens.I am going to talk to him once the cast comes off. I didnt mention lifting while the cast was on to him however..
Dude I need to get a digi camera first, I wouldnt add them to your program though. You need to have a bench press exceeding 275 to do them, sorry man its tragic I know.
sorry about the splint man heal well! On a good note those front squats are pretty damn strong manFront Squats
1x5 135
1x5 185
1x3 225
1x3 245
1x2 275
1x2 305
1x3 305
1x1 305
Rough stuff, Should have gotten 3 on my first set..
Leg Extensions and hanging knee ups
Cast Countdown: 3 days( not including today or the day i get cast off since i get it off at 8 am)
You know what the biggest buzzkill is? I might need a splint once this cast comes off.
x2 awesomesorry about the splint man heal well! On a good note those front squats are pretty damn strong man
I'm jealous of you deadlift haha.
So heres the deal i'm in a removable splint now which is great because my hand will be strong enough to squat with in a week. Tonight I'll make a video on the muscular atrophy that has occured for it, its pretty noticable.
I agree. Actually, to be on the safe side, give it 4 weeks. Then you'll be fine.wow sorry to hear that man! Heres to a quick regain though....you've been absolutely KILLING those front squats man I am really jealous.....I seriously think when you get back to deadlifting and squatting your numbers may suffer for like a session or two but then they will bounce back to even higher than before.
Actually I think my squat is already stronger than before my injury, theres no way it could have gone down after such an increase on my front.
On a side note I haven't actually lost any weight throughout this whole process which is actually pretty ill. I think I put on 2lbs. actually. Squats and milk baby.

I'm glad you kept working out with your injury bro. You're a prime example of someone who didn't let an injury keep you out of the gym.
Oh, btw did you see the prom pic i emailed to you?
oh was that the one mike pm'ed me about where it was you and another guy???
If the person i thought is a girl is a guy, he has a hell of a costume.
Jdid I'll be completely honest that chick is fine haha, you look like you need to get out in the sun a bit more though. BTW good luck with the girl in green.
Back Squat
1x5 135
1x5 225
1x5 275
1x3 315
1x3 365
1x2 405
So I went into these planning on doing a 20 rep squat of 275. Thing is I noticed something was different when I was doing 225, and then when I was doing 275 it became clear, I realized my squat had gotten hella strong. Thats when I said f*** it I'm finding my new max, ideally I wanted to get 405x3 but I'll take the two reps happily.
Just like the floor press, the Front squat helped ingrain the principle that variation in weightlifting if essential for progress. I actually got significantly stronger since I had broken my hand, which to me is flat out shocking.
I guess the big question is how much my bench has fallen behind, although i can't see it being too low considering that I have gained strength on my squat.
Great stuff its days like this that remind me why we do what we do.
Bench press
205x6
pull ups
5 sets, the most I could do was 10
push ups
these were fine
FUCK MY LIFE.
like 10 pulls ups, are you f'in joking. looks like no upper body really took a toll on me. T-Block You have me on the bench now.. I'm going to go hang myself, later bros.
I am not to worried I am a firm believer is muscle memory, my norm strength should be back within two weeks. for me its more of a question of what I should be doing during that two weeks because my hand isn't healed enough for a full fledged bench.
i can't believe your squat strength either man. good work. Sorry if you posted this earlier, but which routine are you using now?
nice work mike your squatting strength is downright impressive! Damn though 201 is good size at 5'8.
Thanks T-Block, I don't want to put much more weight on though. When I go to PT for mass maritime for two weeks I think I will definitely drop some weight with all that running, I leave in a week. Yeah Double Body weight is something I never got with squat.
Seriously running may suck dick at first but once you get used to it it is awesome. There's nothing like just going out for a run at night, it is a liberating feeling. Watch the shin splints though, something tells me you are going to get some pretty bad shin splints. If I were you I would start running now, very slow pace 2 miles 3x a week, concentrate on good form relaxed stride. This page contains mature content.
