My dog has Lyme Disease

Oh, poor poochie, but the TITLE alone had me rolling! LOLOLOL!

am I missing something?
It's not very funny, and pretty insensitive to laugh at this.

IF you notice the "bulls eye" rash and other first stage sypmtoms.
Second and Third Stage are not as successful with antibiotic treatment.
ACP: Initiative on Lyme Disease - Patient Guide - Diagnosis

When I found the tick on me, I was in a business meeting and noticed a tiny spot on my forearm. Luckily, I'm stark white, so even though it was tiny, it showed. After I got it out, I had a bullseye pretty quickly.
I got antibiotics within 2 days, and I feel fine now. The spot where I got bit actually has a scar though- maybe its my body fighting it off.

Damn Stryker, I am sorry that you had to deal with the aggravation and also sorry that your pup had to suffer. You are absolutely correct that the vets should have clued into this long before the routine testing.
My mothers neighbor had the same problem although her dog got hit hard and is a lot older. The poor dog is suffering now...

Damn ticks are horrible! I hope that now you have the diagnosis that your dog will heal quickly and be ok in the end.
