even after you get a gun license, you are not allowed to take the gun out of the house unless you call the cops before hand, then they will tell you what route you can take when you have a gun on hand...lol

That's all fine and dandy, but in a panic are you going to remember to chamber a round first, or remove the safety if one's already chambered? Out and about shooting relaxed is one thing, in a life or death situation most people would fail to fire the gun in time.

Don't really have to worry about the safety if she's going with a DAO type weapon.

Then again, I personally don't like keeping them chambered at all times.

Doesn't take that long to pull the slide to chamber a round.

Chicks like revolvers. Easiest to use, no slide to fiddle with, gonna fire every time/no jams.

I always keep one chambered. You might not have time to rack the slide in a rush.
