my last one measured 3 weeks (!) too small by their standards until she was almost 12 weeks...she wound up ahead for a cpl of weeks..

lotta tests because of a retroplacental hematoma

she was a perfectly healthy full term infant (37 weeks anyway)

my wife did have the amnio, they've ruled out downs, 13 (something), etc etc all came back negative

first it was like "we can't see her bladder, her thighs are short and slightly bowed, her chest is bell shaped"

second ultra chest looks much better (normal), we see the bladder, thigh bones still have a curve to them , and we are very concerned about the bow" says the Dr at Tufts in Boston
they say she may have Campomelic dysplasia - Genetics Home Reference
they are testing for it right now with the amnionic fluid so I should know something hopefully by weeks end. Then in 2 weeks we go for another ultrasound

Her OB was talking all about possible "termination" because the conditions they are "testing for" are life threatning.

My daughter came out absolutely perfect. Not one thing wrong with her. She is normal size and a really outstanding athlete and quite pretty..

I told the Dr at the very beginning of this that we were not aborting so there was not reason to run a battery of test. Your wife will know in her heart if the baby is ok - I really believe that.

Trust man you all are gonna be fine. When my girl was pregnant i almost lost both of them in the delivery room, things wherent looking good at all, before you knew it an emergency c-section was ordered. 20min. later she gave natural birth to my healthy baby girl who was suppose to not spend a day in this world, and what do know she is only 7months old now and nearly walking, not to mention my gf is doing great aswell. Point is bro dont let what could be the bad destroy you, nothing has taken place yet and it wont. Jus keep God by ur side and think positive. And what ever those Dr's say do not terminate cause you never know what the outcome will be unless you give it a shot. Our prayers go out to you..

Things got worse, she miscarried at 22 weeks. Found out Tues, but been to busy/mad/sad to talk about it. Nature just ran it's own course I guess. Better luck next time.

I think my wife is gonna have a breakdown, she had to leave work after a few hours yesterday and I woke up to her balling at 5am, I just held her and told her to breathe and I loved her and she went back to sleep in a good 15 minutes
