Whenever I watch that one I always marvel at the fact that he had no understanding of what he was even saying since he didn't speak English at that point.

His accent is really good, you'd never know he was a brit
I think the show is Ok, but he was really funny in Blackadder, it's worth renting/downloading some episodes
