Approved Log Dr Shredded - Testosterone NPP Anavar Transformation Cycle Log

Dylz

V.I.P.
EF Logger
Hey Guys, over from Evo to post my log,

I'm 43, 6.1" 102kg been lifting since my teens mostly focused on strength training.
I'm very experienced in doing transformations on myself I love a challenge and learning more about health, fitness, and nutrition, I've used myself as a human guinea pig from the age 20, generally I do these non-enhanced, and over the years I've been anywhere from 120kg fat, 99kg lean, 60kg lean trail runner and mountain biker, I'm currently carrying around 20kg extra.

I got injured with a forearm flexor and shoulder tear, also carrying a back injury for the past 8 years with sciatica, I took what was meant to be 12 months of training to give myself a break and it ran closer to 2 years as I picked up the bottle and cigarettes again and got too comfy, now it's back to the grind.

I've been slowly getting back into it past 2 weeks, getting my base back, and body ready... down maybe 8kg in water and weight and the muscle memory is starting to come back.

Due to the number of injuries, I've had over the years, I'll be dialing in the nutrition side of things this time, at present no form of cardio, I'll add some walking this week then some more intense stuff later just to keep things interested and the heart health up.

My training will be based on my injuries and limits, I currently can't do normal bench, deadlift, or squat, and a lot of lower back exercises, a shame as these are my 3 Favorite exercises.

I'll be tracking training, and nutrition daily, I'll attach today's training and nutrition and daily post these.

I’m also very creative in the kitchen and I’ll post this up if people show interest 😉

I'll post some current photos tomorrow of my overweight ass, I'll grab a newspaper so you guys know it's legit ;) hopefully, with this log, I can encourage some other 40+ people with what's still possible, learn some new things about myself and rep my main man Alpha Labs, and the quality of his gear.

I'll be running his Dr Shredded Mix:

300/week Test P
300/week NPP
300/week Mast
280/week Anavar

same for cardio details

supplements
what supplements do you take? list please

pics
please share pics of you face blurred
pics of your meals as you eat if possible would be great
pics of training gear
pics of supplements
pics of your gear is a nice one

What injuries?
Just a lower back injury mate been carrying it since I was 30, L4-L5 are herniated with nerve impingement causing sciatica pain a lot
Let's get it bro. Let's show the young guys that results are still achievable in your 40's.
For sure brother! your looking great!
Don't forget to get the pictures up so we see where you're at
Sure, thing Steve I'll get these up tonight, tomorrow latest ;)

Supplements: Pre-workout 5g Creatine, 10g L Citrulline, 5mg Cialis, tsp sodium, tsp Franks extra hot chili sauce (yep I'm a weirdo)...
I will also do my daily injections in the morning pre-workout and take an additional 20mg var before bed.
I've been on TRT for maybe 6 years now, my sweet spot is 150mg/week.
I'm on 20mg Accutane, 5 months in..

Today's training was okay, I'm still having issues holding up the reins, I need to start low volume and build up my base again, so you will see lots of low numbers working up to working sets to prevent injury, each week I will increase the volume and weight as my strength and size comes back.

be careful doing anything that aggravates the back
don't do behind the neck squats or pull Downs

does the Accutane affect anything?
Some guys complain about bad side effects

Welcome bro....would love to see your progress and that kitchen talent as well.......

Hey guys just an update, got struck down with a medical condition and had to go under the knife yesterday, surgery went okay.. I got an abscess 12 months ago from an ingrown hair on my right butt cheek, last time they just drained it, this time they cut the whole thing out so less chance of it coming back.

I'm not able to sit atm, but I suspect in a weeks time I'll be able to do some light seated upper work.. Stitches come out in 21 days. I was down to 100kg probably back up to 107 now as I've been completely unmobile.. Couldn't be worse timing, but I guess it's just a bigger test to make this a good transformation

Gear arrived the other day, fully filled vials from my man Alpha Labs! My guess easy 12ml in each and looks the goods! I'll post pictures tomorrow 💪

Added starting pics, obviously I look like shit with 18ish months off training
Are you just starting back in the gym? Starting gear immediately? You should really get a good 6 months in of good training and diet before you start taking anything to reduce the risk of injury. Your ligaments and tendons need time under load prior to taking drugs.

Probably been back building the base for 6+ weeks now, I'm a pretty experienced lifter, this is a recomp, won't be breaking any PRs easy 4-5 Reps in reserve light weights slow and controlled, won't be starting cycle for another 2 weeks, won't be ramping up lifts for well into the cycle 👍
@Dylz you having diet changes yet?

sorry about the medical condition
hows serious is it? I mean 12 mo is serious seems

make sure that you keep us updated
never want to hear about surgery

your body's immune system is going to be weak for a bit
maybe take a break from being around people

definitely heal up soon
you'll be back in the wagon before you know it

Diet was dialed in until surgery, I've been bed bound as it hurts to sit, so things got off track, the time off training was due to a back injury.

But yeah the abscess is a bitch, only stopped bleeding 2 days ago , i go to get stitches out Tuesday

I will start doing some light weights tomorrow and avoid the seated stuff, also back to clean eating
@Dylz waiting to see you back and for pics updates

Started back training 3 days ago, finally able to put a bit of weight on my bum, taking things real slow for the next week, tomorrow will be some trial and error with my first leg workout, I might even skip it one more time just to give a few more days of healing, I'll post up last 2 workouts below.

Did my first injection of test (Alpha Labs) 💉👌👌 was real smooth through a slin and just a touch more then my Trt dose.

Weight hasn't really changed since operation, nutrition will be back in check starting tomorrow.

@Dylz good to see you back bro
start slow and go hard in a few weeks
stay updated

Thanks @the_alcatraz, been a tough few testing months. Training had been the best part of my life until the recent long break, so it cut deep when I just started getting back into it and I was forced to have more downtime.

But it's has just added to my focus to get nutrition and training on point, the real challenge will be leaving the ego at the door keeping the weights down, and focusing on slow, powerful mind muscle connection, for growth and longevity 💪

It's already here it's been a tough couple months but you're coming back strong

you'll get great growth trust me you've got a good head on your shoulders

make sure you're posting your workouts we need to see them

get your diet posted up and get some meal pictures let's do this

Thanks for all the support and comments EF team 💪

I took the option to skip legs one more time around to further heal, I'll start adding a few exercises to my Back & Biceps days, I'll probably start with some Bulgarian Split squats, lunges and calf raises.

Added a few reps these sessions and slowly start progressively overloading.

I forgot to track nutrition today, but with that said I'm like a human calculator when it comes to this, so today we pretty on point. But just so you guys can critique me I'll make sure I start tracking tomorrow.

My overall calories where down today, so I chucked in a home made seafood pizza to get them up for the day, this baby comes in around 700 calories for the whole pizza and has protein galore!

Weight is up around 2kg from surgery but I'd say 50% water retention so overall I didn't go off the rails!

I like

This week has been pretty consistent even though I'm moving houses, I have had to make some slight changes as I've aggravated my shoulder, I'd say a slight micro tear in my front delt.

I did some playing around with this to find a work around, I've found with an aggressive incline, bar high on the chest with suicide grip, I can chest press pain free, I also tested a handful of other shoulder exercises that also work so ill add them to the mesocycle. I lowered the weights and up'd the reps this week also.

I've decided to drop the NPP 1 week in, as I want to keep the sex drive higher and I've already felt a dip, I might add a fast acting EQ in later in the cycle, so for now I'm on.

300 Test E
300 Mast E
40 Var

I'll post photo update 2 weeks from now and give the slow esters time to do there thing.

Hey bro, generally that's where I sit with protein, but I was intentionally testing a lower range, as I wanted to keep carbs higher and see how I feel.

So I'll meet you half way 😁 I'll add another 20g a day with a total 205 💪💪

This was first leg day since op, felt good to hit legs again and didn't feel any discomfort. So I'll slowly ramp up leg day 👌👌

@Dylz Good dedication even while moving....keep it up bro........

Whole family tested positive to covid this week, I felt flawed and spent a day in bed, I refused to test myself, and following day woke up, took my pre workout and banged out a workout, wont lie I've had constant headaches and runny nose all week, but I haven't let it hold me back, bench up in weight and reps, and I felt strong.. also posted a typical dinner shot, roast vegetables and meat 💪
