Doubt I'll See Another

Mark Schultz disqualified over double wrist lock in 1984 Olympics.....it's pretty much a Kimura....

"Back in the day" I learned my first joint locks circa 1986 at wrestling camp; We had a Japanes coach that was on the national team and emphasized Judo throws and joint manipulation; It was just hard to figure out how to use it under the rules of competition.

Wrestling is no doubt an excellent background for MMA, never said anything contrary to that.

They have to learn jiu jitsu to survive.

At face value, pure wrestling vs pure jiu jitsu, both being competitive and competent in their reflective discipline, a jiu jitsu practitioner is going to win almost every time if a fight ensues.
Pure, what is pure? Can I punch you in the face and eye gouge? Can I bite off your ear? If you want a contest based on both sets of rules then it's impossible because going to your back will get you pinned and using a choke or armbar will get you disqualified. Different rules means different standards for victory; You can't claim the JJ guy will win because the rules are JJ....If the NFL made a field goal worth 6 points and a touchdown 3 then the game would change based on the rules.

I watched UFC 1 on PPV and I also watched Matt Hughes beat the shit out of Royce Gracie.....Just sayin.'

How many email addresses have you had to create for all of these alters?

Also, how has wrestling helped your life when you're beating women and going to jail for it? It must have been an advantage knowing all those moves.
Ethics and knowing that you need a good team around you to be successful; I thought you were above the "low hanging fruit" sophistry? You're a Mormon...how many teen girls have you raped to become your spiritual wives? I had to unlearn that economic interactions aren't win/lose like sports; They're all about mutual perceived benefit.

P.S. I don't place much on financial metrics but my net worth skyrocketed after I became the business owner out of necessity . I interviewed with a Microsoft affiliate and they told me they wanted to hire me but they couldn't have a convicted felon on the MS backbone so I started my own business; I'm doing pretty well...

I don't know if you've been living under a rock or...oh, that's right, you've been in prison for beating a helpless girl...but I'm a virgin.

Also, you didn't answer my question.

Did knowing all those wrestling moves help you out when you a beat up a girl and had to go to prison for it?
