O'Bama is facing the most heat since getting in the whitehouse.
He may have been pressured to do this, as he needs drastic things like this to
Keep him in the White House after next year. Could work too.
The people who say the protesting isn't doing anything....
I think you're wrong. What do you guys think?

He's bringing the Iraq troops home who will be promptly deployed to Afghanistan which they just admitted we're gonna need to be there way longer than they were saying just a few months ago. It's a ruse, nothing more. Those guys might get 9 months respite than they're back to another sand infested hell hole where every window is a potential sniper nest.

You might be right,
Bringing 40,000 people back so quick is a little surprising to me.
He may have planned this 3 years ago before he ran again.

I do hope they bring all the men and women of the armed forces home. Its a futile fight that we will never win. We are fighting animals that use women and children as objects of mass destruction with bombs strapped to them.

We don't need a standing military

Just give Barry some moar drones!

Ok I don't get involved with politics often. But I will say this...He has pulled them home as a means to get in the good grace needed for the upcoming election...He will not keep them home. There will still be Afghanistan!

Hi, Angel :wavey:

He brought them home because
1. There couldnt be an agreement between Iraqi parliament and the US about judicial imunity for the troops
2. That reason is stemmed from the fact that they want us gone now, and we needed/wanted to be gone.
3. He said he would bring them home, and its along the same time line as the Bush administration.

Political stipulation is the wrong guess.

Just one clarification:
He pledged to have troops out by the end
Of 2009, and said we could, "take it to the Bank"

The troops are being withdrawn based on an agreement the Bush admin signed...remember the shoe throwing incident, that happened during his public announcement of the withdrawal of all US forces by 2012.

There will still be 50k military contractors in Iraq after the complete withdrawal of the US military from Iraq...lolloll..
