I bought my iMac almost 2 years ago...is as fast as it was the day I turned it on, has never had any error messages or given me the slightest problem. Don't think I have ever even turned it off.

Say what you will, but apples products pwn the shit out of it's competition and the only people that ever have anything negative to say about them have never owned one and/or can't afford one.

This.

If I want to play with technology, I'm gonna program my 5-axis thingy or play with a propeller chip.

Iphopes are now as low as 99, so cost is out the window
I pad wifi 499
Xoom wifi 499
Yeah it's all about money and jealousy.

Pay no attention to the pricing as Idk how far back that was writtenand is irrelavant as I am comparing capabilities and specs.

Btw jnig, there is more than just motor Droid phones, Samsung,HTC evo etc are other alternatives if you don't wanna have to tweak all your issues, which are fixable but I see where you are coming from if you just want a phone that works. That is what the iphone is for. Simple, nice, yet a tad restrictive. Everything tied to iTunes, no Google map GPS (u have to pay) android is built on an open concept platform making it kind of endless of the capabilities one can do with your device. Droid batteries are an issue, I'm not gonna deny it, although the power widget app pretty much takes care of that imo

I have had only an iphone since the original, every single new one has been amazing. I am sure the new one is really fast and great. The iphone4 is a great phone/computer. I am switching laptops next for sure.

Conventional IT strategy says the network dictates the outlets.

People used to choose Windows first, then find a suitable PC.

People used to choose Verizon first, then find a suitable handset.

Apple turned it around. People now choose Macs, iPads and iPhones first.

They'll do that again with television sets at some point, which is part of why their stock will do so well.

Edison vs Jobs? Both men were great, but I think Nikola Tesla is the most important person behind our technology advances of the 20th century.

Apparently Steve left a "five year plan", Stalin style...we'll see if Apple tanks as hard as it did last time their marketer in chief left.

the nepmen

when I at 17 took that 3 hundred level history course as an elective

instant wet t shirt

I need still a few more
offense and defense
and "special" teams
lock and load regardless

I have a 2005 Alienware lamptop that beats the snot out of your average modern laptop, however, price for it back in the day was outrageous, but it keeps up well with the trends... if I but another pc or device, I select it making sure it is upgradeable and will stay ahead, OR I'll pay less and buy the old version and shall not complain about all the features it lacks :p

The average modern laptop has an i3 or i5 processor in them. There was nothing on the top end of laptops in 2005 that can even come close to trying to even compare or compete with even Intels low to mid range processors. The graphics chips alone built into the sandy bridge processor series are better than almost every discrete card there was at that time.

That's my theory as well, although women who are squirters will deny it with vehemence.

urine is anti-septic
in war, especially world war one which was so trench confining
use urine to clean wounds
and/or fill the machine gun cooling barrel
tough decisions

Urine is also a suggestion for treating jellyfish stings.

Interesting analysis, Apple has a mere 10.7% share of the PC market; They do lead in "novelty devices" but when it comes to the foundation of business and academic productivity they have the same market share they did when I was taking undergrad Spanish in a PC lab circa 1992.

Gartner Says Worldwide PC Shipments Increased 2.3 Percent in Second Quarter of 2011

On a side note; I found it ironic the Wall Street occupiers that are protesting corporate greed stopped to venerate Steve Jobs. Apple has a higher profit margin than banks and oil companies, both of which are essential for the functioning of a modern society unlike Apple. If apple ceased to exist tomorrow society would continue to function...make banks and/or oil companies disappear and society would quickly collapse. Likewise, Apple has outsourced thousands of jobs oversees to produce the consumer products the occupiers worship.
