Oh, it didn't bother me. I mean, it was a fishing trip for them. If they can't let out the inner beast on a fishing trip, when can they? I'm not gonna get in the way of sacred bonding time, I was more raise the eyebrow kind of amused. That was hardly the crudest thing said during the week (oh god, if I could unhear some of the stories lol....)

That's not strange at all lol...there's a sort of refreshing honesty to it. That said I've heard enough refreshing honesty in my time working on boats that I don't think anything could surprise me anymore.

This is true. My cousin is all tatted up (as am I), drives a Harley and is very tell it like it is. Men love her.

I've got a friend kinda like that....tats, works on cars, generaly cool chick. Funny, she grew up wealthy and you'd never know it...her family doesn't get her at all so she's distant from most of them and just does her guy-girl cars/dirtbike/tats thing (in short shorts that only just cover the butt cheeks haha). I dig her.

lol I'm very much like a guy in a lot of ways and in my interests and attitude, but I'll tell you what, I don't know a flippin thing about changing my own oil or taking care of a flat. I'm happy leaving that to the menfolk. Also, the grill. Man stuff, won't do it.

I thought about if a few years ago when I lived in the DC area. I've never felt an ounce of fear on a bike and I freaking LOVE flying down the highway. But my mom would have had a heart attack....to much time working in an OR and seeing what bike accidents do. Couldn't do that to moms.

Yea that'll put the fear of god in anyone. It's good that you respect your mother's feelings. The only thing that's stopping me is time and money. I have more important things I need to be focusing on right now. School, my boys, and such.
