Last week, Elite Fitness.com caught up with Christy, one very sexy female Platinum Member, who goes by the name HabitualHealth on the EliteFitness.com Discussion Forums. We've got a full profile for Christy and we have her recipe for building a better, leaner physique and shedding the extra weight - we've also got more pictures of her transformation!
In the next few weeks, we'll have more member profiles for you to read. One thing in particular that I have noticed about the EF Members with the best physiques is that they are all Platinum Members. What they have all told me is that they use their Platinum Membership on EliteFitness.com to get the training advice, steroid cycle help, unrestricted search of our 3.5 million+ post archives, and the support from our underground community that has made their remarkable transformations possible. If your looking to make progress like Christy (who lost 43lbs in the past 5 months) and the other Platinum Members that I'll be profiling in the weeks ahead, I hope you'll consider becoming a Platinum Member of our forums - I guarantee that you'll get the tools you need to make your own amazing, muscular transformation. And now, without further delay, here's this weeks member profile!
Member Profile Questions:
G.S. What's your name? *Christy *
G.S. How old are you? *25
G.S. Where are you from, where did you grow up? *I'm in Atlanta, Gawga. Grew up in the sticks of country town....Stockbridge, GA. *
G.S. When did you first come to EliteFitness.com? *February 20, 2005...the first day of the rest of my life. 🙂
G.S.What's your name on the forums? * HabitualHealth, HH, Habitualhotness, attention whore...you name it. *
G.S. How did you choose your name on the forums? *I'm into ephanisums....kinda dorky like that. I probably sat here for an hour trying to come up with some "super cool and healthy like" name. Kind of ran through my thesaurus for cool adjectives. Been a hit since. 🙂 *
G.S. Have you made many friends on the forums? *Have I? Wow, absolutely. My christmas list killed me last year. There are so many incredible people on this site. So many personalities...each unique to its owner...it's hard not to love everyone. (ask me off the record) :)*
G.S. Do you see any of them in the offline world? *I was fortunate to attend the ATL meetup which was an incredible success. *
G.S. How many times a week do you come to the site? *Let's just say my career gets in the way of my posting. :D*
G.S. What forums do you read the most? *Read most...I'd say that weighttraining/diet. I love to see what others are doing, watch progress etc. As we all know, a picture is worth and thousand words. I love checking out the Pics of our Members. So much inspiration to be found in there. And of course, the lovely women's forum. I don't post a great deal in there.....but I'm always reading. And when I want to start fights with boys...the Chat forum.
G.S.How do you use the site and the forums to compliment and support your training? *If it weren't for this site, I would have NEVER dropped the 43lbs in the past 5 months. NEVER. To kind of walk you through it, I came to this board completely ignorant to training/diet. After posting my before pics (which scared the hell out of me) I couldn't begin to tell you the amount of motivation, encouragement, guidance, and support I received from the women and men. It was insane! So much knowledge, information, research, support, tools, tips...you name it.
G.S. What are your goals for the future both with your physique and otherwise? *Well, 1st off.....goal/reward = boobs! Yay for boobs! It's no big secret when women lose a great deal of weight that's the first thing to go. I've worked EXTREMELY hard and feel I deserve it. 🙂
Physique...I'd like to drop another 5-8lbs of BF. Want to see a more lean look still maintaining my femininity. I definitely definitely definitely want to compete next year. I'm hoping to find someone who can give me the guidance necessary to make this happen. As well, as of late, I somehow managed to embark on a modeling journey. *batting eyelashes* I would love to do some fitness modeling, print ad, commercial type work. At 25, I can't see limiting myself to much!
Again, EF has helped me gain the confidence needed to embark on all the goals/dreams I've suppressed pretty much my entire life.
G.S. Please tell us how you train? *Well, I've been doing a series of photo shoots over the past 2 months so I've been doubling up with 2-a-days. Crawl my grumpy butt out of the bed and head to the gym for [6:30] cardio. I switch it up between steady state and HIIT pretty much depending on how much/little sleep I got the night before. I do cardio 6 mornings a week. And lift at [6:30] PM 5 nights a week. Mon=back, Tues=chest, Wed=legs, Thurs=shoulders, Fri=arms.
G.S.What's your body fat at? *Had it checked 2 weeks ago and was at 12.5%. Seems I've been hanging out here for a while. Working on breaking that plateau. 🙁
G.S. Ever plan on competing? *ABSOLUTELY!! At this point, I've been doing a ton of research...but still lack the confidence of really knowing what I need to do to make it happen. Not sure if hiring a trainer would be ideal for that or continual research. (perhaps a lil of both?) Who knows. But yes, definitely. *
G.S. Tell us about your diet? *yawns*...haha it's boring but it's sooo effective. I'm eating roughly 5-6 times a day. I quickly learned how fast this speeds up the ol metabolism. Empty stomach am cardio. Much protein (salmon, chicken, tuna, chicken, fish, lean beef (sometimes), and chicken) sweet potatoes, brown rice, green veggies (broccoli, green beans, baby spinach), yummy shakes and of course enough water to drown a person.
G.S.Tell us about your cycles? *Haven't explored that option. Always wanted to push myself to full potential before trying something different. *
G.S. What kind of gains have you seen since you found Elite? *A ton of gains and losses. Since Feb 20, 05 I've lost 48lbs. Going from 33 to 12.5% BF. My shoulders have popped out, arms cut up, my legs are rocks, and *gasp* I have abs! And, I know you're referring to my body...but I have to mention the confidence, security, and assurance I've gained from not only my results, but each supportive person on EF. *
G.S. Tell us about your supplementation? *Thermorexin, L-rex, Glucorell R, PureCEE, EnerG, Creatine, Whey protein, and of course, the oh-so-awesome Yohimburn ES (which ROCKS!). I cycle out my thermo's with Lipo 6 to change things up.
G.S.Tell us a little about your lifestyle? What do you do? Married? Hobbies? Train with your significant other? *Ah yes, life outside of the gym. Well, I'm a single mommy of the coolest 4yro in the world. So no sir, not married. I work for an armored transportation and cash logistics company where I play the role of Acct Mgr of GA. And nah, I don't get to drive the armored trucks. Oh the fool who would grant me a badge and a gun. I'm a loner in the gym but there so much everyone knows me.
Hobbies? I'm a mean machine at chuckie cheese, can play hide-n-seek like it's my job, shake my groove thang to the wiggles...you name it. I really devote a great deal of time trying to coach, educate and groom my daughter to be an educated, humble, confident little girl. It is tough to have "hobbies" persay with my schedule. I have been able to explore lots of interests...getting certified scuba and sky diving, going white water rafting, paintballin' it...I guess I'm an extreme sport kinda gal. *
G.S. Is there anything else you would like for the EliteFitness.com community to know? *I'm not the best at volunteering 411 but more than happy to answer anymore questions. I'm the open book type. Other than that, just want to say a million thank yous to every person who has helped me from day one. You all know who you are...and I hope you know how much it means to me! Thank you! thank you! thank you!*
G.S. I appreciate your time and help with this and I know that there are many members who will be inspired by your story and your progress!
