getting in important cardio when you have leg issues

those types of injuries don't healed himself as you get older
 
you can look at pilates, something where you aren't heel striking
 
I find that when I mix in excellent cardio with my bodybuilding and weight training that I get really good results in terms of recomp and cutting.
The problem is it hurts when I go running the bottom of my feet hurt and I get ankle and shin splint issues.
I can’t be the only one with this problem what are some other ways you can get in cardio to complement your weight training that don’t involve running or jogging?
Makes it tough but it can be done
