I posted this in the between the sheets forum, but thought it might get some more responses here since there is more traffic here.

Not exclusively 19 year olds, but a few that may come his way. I'm 30 and have had sex with a couple 19 year olds recently. I see now probelm with it. It's just sex, and they're all about it bein that way. I date girls closer to my age when it comes to an actual relationship and true dating. What do you guys think?

i mean, to put it into perspective, i can only think of it in this way: i'm 34 and it's relative to me trying to fit in the clothes i wore when i was 19.

the age of consent in my state (according to ageofconsent.com) is 16. Does that mean i can bang a girl if she is 16 years or older?

Reason I ask this is because there seems to be a lot of confusion on this topic (my friends seem to think that they have to be 18, or you can get into trouble)

um - the age of consent means just that. if she's 16 then she is free game for everyone including the 80 year olds
 
My husband is 51, I'm 40. I would have loved to have met him when I was 19.

However, I don't think a 19 year old girl is capable of having no strings sex, that's just my opinion. I think their emotions get involved, even if they say otherwise. It takes a few years to have the ability to separate emotions/bonding/sex. So I think no-strings sex between a 30 year old man and 19 year old female is potentially hurtful.

Just my opinion.

19 year old boy and 30 year old woman??? Different story, that there is a lucky boy, most men are born with the ability to have sex and not be involved.

There's no problem at all bro. Forget the age. Remember. We were created just to reproduce. That's what our anatomy was made for. The rest, was invented by us as a side effect of what we call "intelligence" A healthy man that feels the need to reproduce, will look for that opposite sex partner who is feeling ready to reproduce also. If she is woman enough, she'll go directly for it.

I agree with you. I don't care how strong or independent she claims to be. A 19 y.o. female will not be able to seperare her emotions. The longer you have sex with her, the harder the separation is going to be.

If you are solely looking for an NSA relationship, why not look for someone in ther early-mid 20's (I would say upper 20's, but I get the feeling we are too old :rolleyes: )

I would use your advice, but u must realize that I am an incredibally shy person. Also, the idea of pursuing a woman right now makes me a little depressed. I am kind of burnt out.

Ironically this happened right as I finally decided it was time to start listening to other people's advice (I think finally realizing the gigantonormous task in front of me is what did me in. --either that or maybe there isnt a correlation and it was just bad timing.)
