Oh, it doesn't happen all the time, once in a very rare blue moon ... more so when I was younger. Hubby and I used to get ourselves into some very, ummm, odd situations (have an affair for four years, it's gonna happen). And I agree with you about joy and laughter but like I said, could be endorphins too. I also occasionally burst into tears after orgasms (sorry if it's TMI). Overwhelming emotions, that's why I chalked it up to endorphins.Don't get me wrong, I've cracked up during sex because something funny and spontaneous happens, but it's not a time to be intentionally telling jokes.
Also joy and laughter are not the same thing.
Granted, I'm probably quite a bit older than you. One of the [very few] nice things about getting older is you do lighten up, relax and are more comfortable. I can honestly say that sex at 47, for me, is waaaaayyyy better (excluding physical issues, creaky joints) than it was almost 20 years ago. A lot of that has to do with being more able to discuss needs, wants, likes, dislikes without stressing over shit that seemed so important when I was in my 20s or so
