Fuck everyone that says Ybor sucks. Ybor is great. You just have to know where to go and where to stay away from. Here is a little low down:

Amphitheater and Twilight (VIP areas - Sat night) - Techno, DnB, breaks. Twilight is great for rolling. Kick ass upstairs. They have beds and there is alot a girl-girl action

Turbulence - Rap. Gangbangers and people that have huge egos

Full moon salon - Hip-Hop. Some of the same crowd from Turbulence.

BAR Tampa and Tahiti Joes - college kids that don't like hard hip-hop or techno

Hedo and Greeen Iguana - 25 - 45 old crowd. Alot of middle aged wemon who like to fuck

Empire - Havent been there in a while but it is a mix of full moon salon and Amphitheater together

Masqurades and The Castle - Gothic

Grew up in Miami. Moved to Tampa to go to USF when I turned 18. In Miami, I ride to Crobar on Thursdays and Opium Garden on Saturdays. The Living Room in downtown has been getting good also. Other than that, I like Bed and Space on the occasional super late night tip.
Tampa is pretty dull compared to South Beach. The girls are uglier, but easier. Ampitheater is decent on Saturdays. Mainly, I go to Ybor on Thurdays. Full Moon Saloon was good on Thursdays, but those parties are over. Now I've heard that Bar Tampa has been jamming on Thurdays. I usually only go out there for the parades...Gasparilla and Guavaween. Gasparilla is like a mini-Mardi Gras in February. Check it out.
