people are making a big deal about the colts taking out peyton
it really means shit- they have the #1 seed in the AFC clinched and they didnt' want peyton to get hurt. Sure, it isn't good for teams fighting for wild card spots like the ravens, steelers, broncos, etc, but it is what was best for the colts and i think it was a good decision

I saw the 49ers powerhouse teams in the 80s do this late in the season too. An undefeated season means nothing...the Superbowl is everything.
Forget the game meaning anything, I agree with that. However as the number one seed and having a bye, Jim Caldwell is basically giving his starters three weeks off with what he did yesterday. Talk about possibly getting creamed in the divisional round because you have barely seen game time action in almost a month is gonna = colts pwned because of being rusty

During the Patriots run all anyone talked about was the streak. All day every day. Every question they got was about the streak, as if getting to the Super Bowl wasn't enough stress. Can you do it? Will you do it? How do you feel? How will you will feel? What do undefeated QB's eat for breakfast? How do undefeated teams wipe their ass? yada yada yada.
I wouldn't be surprised if some of the Colts wanted to lose a game JUST TO SHUT EVERYONE THE FUCK UP ABOUT IT! Now they can concentrate on just winning the next game and we don't have to see Mercury Morris on tv every damn day.

twas the right call. The colts are not deep at alot of key positions. Maybe they could have kept manning in, but other guys needed to be pulled.....especially on D. People don't realize that the Colts SB chances rest more on the D than on manning. That pass rush has to be on point along with Peyton doing his thing. I still see a colts saints SB and that Colts D line had better be healthy, otherwise they're getting stomped.

the colts secondary sucks. i'm a pats fan and i think jonathan wilhite is one of the worst, but i'd still take him over anyone the colts are putting out there.

however i doubt we'll win this year as our running offense is among the worst in the NFL so teams can completely 100% focus on stopping rivers and jackson.
in previous years, i think we matched up well vs the colts, but this year i don't think we match up quite as well so we'll see
chargers are hot bro..colts can be beat.. their running game is just as bad as the chargers

I still don't get what the big fucking deal is. I"m a browns fan and if we were 15-0 and banged up, I'd want the coach to sit guys too. I don't give a fuck about 16-0 cause if you lose in the playoffs the punchline is 17-1 dont' mean DICK!! Just ask Ortiz.......

The colts are not a deep team, they HAVE to be 100% healthy to make a deep playoff run. They play football a certain way, they are not technically as good as the pats were in 07.....they win one way and one way ONLY. Manning scores touchdowns which lets the Defense pin it's ears back and go after the qb forcing the team to run more which the Colts don't care about because that takes up time. If you want to get into a shootout with the colts you can't be running much. This is why despite the fact I really like the colts, I don't think they can win the SB. They'll probably win the AFC championship (maybe)....but the saints or vikings are going to throttle them.

They should have let Gomer play till sometime in the 4th. After they had more than a 5pt lead. How the fuk you pass on history like that. I can see resting the D guys like freeney who has had some minor injury issues lately but not a healthy O. Also Manning was already slightly off during the game as well missing a couple big passes where Reggie had Revis beat.
