Would this work??

I plan on doing starting strength for a year to make my body (Legs, Core, Back, Chest) big and strong.

And after that I plan on running a PH cycle for a month and working nothing except my arms (Shoulders, Forearms, Biceps, Triceps) so they can catch up with my body.

Does this sound like it would work?

I would still train our other body parts I would just cut down sets and prioritize the body parts you want to bring up.

^^This. Your body is a system of systems so whatever muscle group you want to grow the most just do that muscle group first or...

Want bigger biceps? Use the hormone peak after leg training

Your arms and upper body will also experience more growth if you do leg exercises such as heavy squats and deads since those release the most growth hormone and increase test levels the most. I haven't done arm workouts in years and they have pretty good size and a lot of strength from doing power cleans, pullups and deadlift.

I heard that whole workout your legs to get a bigger upper body is a myth.

And guys, I don't just want big arms...

I said my arms will have fallen behind big time after I do starting strength (lots of people say this) so after I finish a year of starting strength I wanted to do a month cycle with a FOCUS on my arm development to help them catch up with my body size.

I will do other compounds, but the main focus will be on my arms.

Why can't you incorporate an arm day once a week or so when you're not doing starting strength? And doing heavy compound lifts like deads will make you stronger all around... That's no myth

U use ur arms as secondary muscles to bench press, shoulder press, etc. So if u take a yr off from arm training to just work chest, shoulder, etc what do u think is gonna happen? Ur only as strong as the weakest link when doing compound lifts. Weak arms = lifts not being at ur full potential. Want to be able to max bench, shoulder, core, etc then train ur full body to its full potential
