Well remeber I'm training for explosiveness and VJ, so yeah that's why I jump. Though the heavier the weight the less jump there is, even though I'm always trying to jump hard. I think you should jump its the only way to transmit maximal explosion to the bar. Although its not quite the same type of jump as a all out VJ, kinda more controlled. But its still a very quad and hip orientated lift.
I suppose you would call it a Jump Power Clean, and ditto for the Jump hang snatch etc. The next time 'm back at the gym I'll cap some of my other Olympic lifts.

ya please post some more vids of your olympic lifts. i would like to see how you do the snatch, jump snatch, and jump shrugs.

I think we should make it a body ratio contest rather than a raw weight contest if you guys want to do it....

For example at 162 I pulled 405--that's 2.5x For cool colj to equal that he would have to pull 194*2.5 = 485.

Make sense?

Fair enough. If I pull the 415 next week, that will get me to just over 2x. I'll be comin' after ya in about another 4 weeks after that.:D

well you will have to wait another 2-3 weeks, I'm on a layoff now.
And then when I hit the gym again, I'll be on a 3 week condiitoning phase, before I get heavy and explosive again.

I'll be able to to Jump Powerclean 225lbs somtime this year and one day 315lbs :D

Sounds good to me. I'll have 500 in the bag within 2 months time no worries, that will allow for some extra lbs I will gain :)

585 is up there somewhere :o
 
seeing your pics coolcolj. you have a bit of bf to lose. and if you did you would weigh alot less. then if you were pulling those weights. that would be unreal. but i remember you saying you want to be jumping crazy carrying some weight so that when you lose it you will be jumping way higher.
are you on a diet still for cutting?
im thinking of getting on a little one to lose a bit of fat. youv seen my pics do you think i should?
