I'll be bulking soon. Maybe I could be a SHW! ;)

As long as it's mostly muscle, more power to you. Mine's a lot of water and fat. You're going to bulk for a year, right?

Because it's Alieve Sinus and I was having sinus problems. I was on vacation, and I was probably having the problems because I was on vacation (different climate, different plants, poor air circulation in a truck for 18 hours). It's very rare for me to take a med of any kind (other than performance enhancing), so it's usually not a concern.

FWIW, it worked really well. Just had too many sides.

I know what you mean about holding water. I could flunctuate between 8 and 10 pounds a day depending on what I eat. Kinda sucks sometimes.

I'll be cranking up the calories in about 3 weeks and will continue bulking until early next spring. I'd like to diet down for a show next summer.

Almost any carb translates to about 5 pounds of water...per serving. Someone suggested that I had an electrolyte imbalance. I don't know about that.

I ahve the same issue, but I'm also insulin resistant.

Exactly! If I put anything foreign in me (get your mind out of the gutter) like Tylenol, IbP, otc meds, scrip meds, slef-prescribed meds ;) , etc...I just blow up. Same with foods. I know that at competition time, my joints are pretty glad I'm part camel.

ive always enjoyed looking like the stay-puff marshmallow man after retaining a lotta water

Wow...glad it's not just me. Have you guys noticed that it's not always just Sub-Q? Sometimes it's just IM bloat that you can't get off? Like people that use creatine? I cut the carbs, took a water pill, and dropped the Alieve to get back to 198, and I'm still holding a lot, it's just not on the surface.

Ok, some is... ;)

I took some pics today, and I still look pretty puffy. Not that it much matters for powerlifting. lol

Yea, water everywhere. It's really hard to get rid of it too. I made a thread on a similar topic a few days ago. It actually gives some benefits in PL IMO, but can suck if you want to bulk and look decent. :(

Unless I cut carbs to absolute zero, I get this problem. If I eat a carb meal of 50-100carbs and wait an hour or two, have some water, and go on the scale I will have added 5lbs.

i'm holding water like a hippo at the moment....being that I have been eating anything and everything i feel like ...
especially on my legs, which are big enough as it is.

i tend to shed it rather quickly by cleaning up the diet and sweating a bit.
