Women on cytomel

Thanks ladies for your replies. I am only tring to lose around 5-6lbs of fat not water. I am not sure of the dosage as of yet. I was primarly relying on my husband for dosage. Nonetheless, I wanted to get as much info from the ladies and there experience with it.

As far as I can tell, no to cytomel and yes to clen. And to make sure, T3 is themoroix?( not sure of spelling).

In 2 weeks, I am not sure T3 is going to do a whole lot. Especially if you are thinking of tapering dose up. LIke previously mentioned, T3 is not something that you just start taking X amount of. There is no "cut and dry" dose we can give you. Indidivuals respond to different doses - all depending on their individual hormone levels.

T3 is not something just to take on a whim. You should have been doing this research ages ago. In my opinion, pre-show you should NOT be playing with unknown substances. You have NO idea what your reaction will be. This experiment SHOULD have been done months ago.

Additionally, you need to really read what Sassy said. T3 can be VERY catabolic. If you are not supplementing with AAS, you will likely lose MUSCLE with some fat. This will bring your overall metabolism down, plus make you softer. I cannot imagaine this is the look you are striving for.

Like she said, MOST male BB competitors are taking some AAS with the T3. This is why they do not lose muscle.

I do NOT think this is a good idea.

2 weeks out? You will get more benefit from diet and water manipulation.

I understand your goal for the 5-6 lb, however in 2 weeks it is rather hard to force something & expect results. If you are really agressive you can try Mr. X's ANPB diet: http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/showthread.php?t=280768. Otherwise you can diet, do lots of cardio / high rep/light weight training to get the muscle you have to be more defined (as opposed to "larger" or building muscle) and like Daisy said, do some water manipulation to get what you have to stand out more. This is essentially what BB's do. During your last week prior to your shoot, do a carb depletion from Sunday to Wed, then start carb up on sweet potatos (and cut out veggies, keep your protein) on Thurs & Fri, by Sat (or whatevre equivalent day of your shoot) your muscles will be fuller as they react to the starchy carb up. And match this with a water & sodium depletion on Thurs, Fri & Sat -- i.e. whatever water you drink now, cut that in half on Thurs, half again on Fri, and day of the shoot you are sipping on say a 24 oz bottle of water all day. You may not need to be that aggressive w/ the water depletion if you don't want to look too dry (i.e. for commercial photo shoot vs. BB competition that day), but that combination will suck out all the subQ water and give you a leaner, sharper look.

I guess if you want to pursue the T3 (brands are Tiromel, Cytomel, etc. -- I didnt' understand what you were saying w/ Thioromex or whatever .. never heard of that) for that short period of time whatever dosage, get a digital thermometer & check your temp each morning immediately when you wake up. An optimally performing thyroid will be running at 97.6 - 98.2 degrees. If you take that temp first thing in the morning for a few days to get an idea of where you are naturally (w/o t3) that can help determine how much t3 you need to dose. My caveat with using t3 for 2 weeks -- dont' rely completely on the pills to arrive at your results - those who get great results are those who are planning ahead on usually 6-8 week schedules with all the planned supps ALONG with specifically well-established diet & training.
