i agree its mostly pointless. I do enjoy watching snowboarding.

But who gives a shit about skeleton and other events that no one sees except once every 4 years.

And for so many events the judging is so subjective.

After hockey I couldn't give a shit.

What worried me was at the pub the other day a bunch of grown men were watching figure skating. WTF is that!! I would rather watch paint dry or grass grow then watch that garbage!!

This is the 1st year I've really spent any time watching them. I have to say I am enjoying it. The snowboarding is awesome. Some of the skiing too. It's sure better than watching some lame as reality show which everything is nowadays.

I appreciate the training and effort .... But after it is canned and served up between commercials? I tried the CBC broadcast. It is better presented but boring.

I gave the snow boarding a quick look. What's with 23 year old white, blond girls wearing baggy low riding pants, giving gang signs and talking like 14 year old thugs?
