As far as men that call women gold diggers because they are with a guy that is old, fat, bald rich. I have found it is always they guys that are broke and don't get action making that call.

Men value beauty and women value security, women see from different eyes than men.

Plus he might be out of shape, but a personal trainer for a couple months that will get one less comment about him. He still will be rich, able to get women. I will bet he is successful because he has a very likeable personality and made his money being affable. If he inherited his money he has done pretty well hanging onto it.

I think this used to be a lot more true than it is now. With far more women being financially secure themselves (having more opportunties at work etc) I don't think they're always as impressed by the $ as they would be if they weren't making decent money themselves. I find that 'career women' go for other qualities in men before any financial success.

One of my guilty pleasures is occasionally catching the "Millionare Matchmaker" on Bravo. If a guy has a shitty personality and the date is a bomb it doesn't matter how many millions he has in the bank. I've yet to see a girl go on a date with a millionare, and there clearly was no chemistry, and she wanted to go on a second date with him.

Not doubting that those young girls are naturally impressed with money. These days though there are far more young women making decent money than there used to be who will look for other qualities first though. A rich but unhealthy guy with a crap personality wont cut it for a woman already financially secure.

Personally, I' fuck a girl even if she did only want me because i was more wealthy than her but could never be in a relationship with anyone like that. If the amount of money i earned even entered a womans head then i wouldn't give her the time of day (beyond just sex if she was hot).
