I've benn a Yankees fan since 70 or so
but in '89 I lived in Cincinatti
and became a Red's fan too
in '90 the Reds led "wire-to-wire"
and faced the A's as overwhelming underdogs
I tended bar in a nice place as "extra help"
when Eric Davis smoked that 2 run home run in the bottom of the second
"we" knew it was on
I went to game two
in which the Reds won in extra innings
against the "EK"
never have been and never most likely will be in a staduim "rocked" with that much excitement
then the uderdog Reds went to Oakland with their bats alive
Reds won 8-3
Reds won game 4 1-0
