Will Denver host AFC championship?

Never occured to you, with Indy being undefeated, did it?

Well...consider this:

Indy's schedule has looked like Baby Wipe Avenue...before now. It turns into Murder Inc with three away games at some of the leagues toughest venues.

Denver's schedule has looked like the intersection of Crippler & Thugs. It is becoming Patsy Dr.

Denver is two games behind and has extremely serious motivation. They realize that an away game at Indy in January will likely be another route. However, they can beat anybody at home.

Gamblers take note...TB says that Denver has a 15% chance of hosting the game that now appears inevitable. Your odds should be attractive right now.

Also...I want a 4% commission for the reasearch. :Perk:

No.

Indy will be like 15-1 going into the playoffs...the one loss from playing the bench during the last game of the regular season

It looks that way because they have had an easy scedule.

Indy 14-2
Denver 12-4........this is likely and not far from 13-3 for both teams. Who would win the tiebreaker?

Indy is a far superior team with a decent defense this year. I think they'll have a tough game vs Pitt, Seattle

Denver I see having a tough time in Dallas and SD. I see them at 12-4

The Jaguars (division rival) and the Bengals are both easily Top 10 teams that have been moving up.

Also....McNabbs late 4th quarter interception throw was just....ill advised. The guy who replaced him looked pretty excited...and exciting. Good wheels for a QB! He should have tried for another yard though...game on the line like that.

The only NFL team that has won more than two games in a row, lately, that Indy does not have to play...is the Bears and the Panthers.

Consider the recent records of four of their upcoming rivals:
Seattle: won last 5
Bengals: won last 2
Steelers: won last 4
Jaguars: won last 2

The Jags cannot be consistent...

Seattle could choke again.

Rothlisberger? What exactly happened to his knee?

I think the Bengals have the best chance to unseat Indy.

The AFC East is a mess

is your question will denver have the best record in the afc (and have the #1 seed) and host the championship game?
answer - no fucking way

or will indy get upset in the playoffs and denver ends up hosting the afc championship game?
answer - not likely but its possible

TB guarantees that Indy will not go undefeated this year. He also bets they will lose at least two games.

Denver? Who knows...they look either unstoppable or get ran through like paper mache. I'm sticking with 12-4 however.

I have been saying this all along man, Denver gets no respect and everyone is all Indy this and Indy that. Mark my words, Denver will host and WIN the afc Championship. With The Snake playing mistake free like he has been, they are a fine tuned machine that is going to be VERY tough to beat.

I did this before, let's go over it again.

Indianapolis's Schedule so far

Baltimore 2-7
Jacksonville 6-3
Cleveland 3-6
Tennessee 2-7
San Francisco 2-7
St. Louis 4-5
Houston 1-8
New England 5-4
Houston 1-8

Combined winning percentage of Indy opponents .321

I was a bit optimistic until I considered that hosting would probably require the Broncos to go undefeated for the rest of the year while Indy lost three of their next seven games. Both scenarios are...pretty strong.

So I went from 25% to 15% in assessing Denvers chances for hosting the championship.

I think Denver is the same caliber of team as Indy. But they don't seem to play well in January when it is cold outside. Especially against the Colts. Manning has just owned them in recent years.

Why crunch the numbers? TB spelled it out like Madden himself.....maybe Jimmy Johnson.

No...had no idea.

If it gets cold...the Broncos fold.

If the snow falls...the Broncos pall.

Bad weather didn't bother the Reeves/Eway machine. Shanahan gets worrined about his suntan and manicure I think.

fuckin' Mannings,
Eli is a lil' beotch

Jealous?

So many people hated Elway...yet I think Elway would do fine if team owners could pick any quarterback ever....at age 22.

I'll bet that Eli and Payton are the best QBs in the game in 2007. Thats just me though. I'm a fan of Payton and Eli impressed me when they beat my Broncos. He looked a bit like Elway in the last couple minutes.

????WHAT?????

You do realize that the Broncos are located in the frigin ROCKY MOUNTAINS don't you? If it's cold outside and bad weather (not to mention the elevation...MILE HIGH FYI) the broncos CLEARLY have the advantage over the dome coddled colts. The colts are a great team, there is no denying that; but if they play each other at mile high, the broncs have a signifigant home field advantage.

That is what should be.....the truth however is that the Broncos have played very poorly in inclement weather for several years now. Snow storms are rare in Denver prior to January...a month that Shanahan spens planning....for next season....since Elway left.

I aso said that anything can happen at Mile High.

yep....Indy has had the easiest schedule of anyone thus far......They remind me of a teenage kid laying the Playstation in the way they play their games....

On a sad note - Atlanta faces the leagues hardest schedule of opposing defense over the next 7 weeks
