The guy was obviouly not too bright...he should have taken off the jersey when the game concluded, rolled it up tight, tucked it into the back of his pants, and gone back to his home/hotel in his T-shirt. Why put a target on yourself like that?

I'd wear my shit with pride. If the Canucks had won in Boston I wouldn't be headhunting fans. I'd be pissed at the TEAM, not the fans.


Shit is just unacceptable. Vancouver/Boston isn't even a rivalry. Boston/NY fans HATE each other, but if you wear the opposing jersey to Yankee Stadium/Fenway, you can expect to get ribbed pretty good, but you aren't going to get beat up.

Yeah, I've gone too Mets/Yanks games in NY with apparel on and never once got shit. I've also traveled to the Meadowlands 3 times for Pat/Jets and nobody ever did shit.

I didn't say it was fair...just that it was stupid. You have to know there are going to be those types that will take a shot at you born out of irrational anger and frustration. I wouldn't KO some guy just for wearing enemy gear...that's retarded. But if this guy was getting carried away lipping off to drunken kids...well...it's hard to feel too sorry for him; even though he is the victim, he is somewhat responsible for knowing what his surroundings are and what type of reaction his actions could cause. It's like your mom and dad told you back in the day: don't go out looking for trouble, because you just might find it.
