Why Fat Burners Don't Work

velvett said:
Wait so is this a discussion about fat burners or selling product?

no its simply true that the products stack well much like stars lining up in the sky it just is, and its nice.

there have been stacks on all boards that are very similar

uncouplers such as Sesamin and "TTA" are know to increase the ability handle fat in the diet much like PYROGENX

Acute Fat Burners like Redline and Tight! are known to help tremendously with fat loss and energy much Like LIPOFLAME

Then you have a daily Fat burner to prime metabolism later in the day with meals such at JetFuel much like ZIP

and then the over all synergy with added things like CyogenX

its simply "is" and they all work together............. hope you dont mind

PS Velvet my recommendation is based on a true opinion.

Much like when I go to a Vitamine Shop or train someone and then I go to their health food store; I look at formulas and what they want to achieve and then recommend a stack that has Synergy.

Much like I Did here yesterday, its fun for me, and not about $$, its more about the fun and science, and logic of it.

I helped this Young man the same way so it is a way of life for me:

I've been saying this for years, people simply won't listen because they'all love the "magic pill" that will remove the "effort" from the equation of getting a better body.

My role model, when it comes to all things cutting (Tom Venuto) is also a first-leaguer when it comes to bashing supps (specially fat burners), simply because nothing works better at losing weight than real-food, real training and real sleep.

I remember when the Herbalife craze started, back in the early 90's... people were swallowing those Thermogenics things by the dozen... and millions were made.

If you like Tom's work you might like this: http://216.239.51.104/search?q=cach...ontana&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=7&gl=us&client=safari It's an interview he did with the top diet experts, of which I was honored to be included.

I say then what I say now (and something with which Toms concurs). But I also mention certain nutrients in my book that stimulate the thyroid. So obviously when putting together a supplement I'm going to recommend wha I've found works. That's very different than just buying stock in something and selling it. CNS are NOT the way. Hyping the thyroid naturally is.

You guys are funny - the topic is why fat burners don't work.

I give you a real life example of someone (me) who not effected by fat burners/thermos and challenged anyone as to why they think that is and with that another member (Flor) notes that she is the very same way.

The original post is ignored the thread becomes a list of "fat burner stacks" that do work (I won't mention the obvious because I'm polite).

Call me crazy... for asking.

Well, I wrote the original post and my point is that what are most often considered "fat burners" are really just stims and they do not burn fat very well and have a bad rebound effect. Yes, there are products which can help, IF they contain things that help the body utilize fat for fuel. CNS do not.

I'll add that if someone doesn't "respond" to typical fat burners that operate on the beta-receptors, it's likely a problem with the receptor itself, or the cell's phospholipid membrane. People with allergies, anecdotally, have a different response to many fat burners.

That won't be a problem with your product or mine.

Again, though...to be fair....I still like my stimulant fat burners, but that's because I really like stims in general. I did an article on stims that I should post...
