I think so. After all we know that young idealistic people tend to be a bit more liberal... and the republicans are afraid of more votes on the other side... even if they legally have the right to vote and get representation.

They aren't just pushing votes, they're pushing John Kerry... they're running a drug warspecial whose advertisements clearly show that they're actually going to steep so low as to appeal to drug using kids to vote John Kerry. This is what pisses me off. They don't ever talk about anything but vote vote vote. That is how democrats get elected by getting votes from ignorant, drugged up, old or just plain ass stupid people.

Ah, but those drug using kids still deserve representation. If over 50% of the population believes that certain drugs should be legalized, yet they remain illegal, is that truely a democracy? Or does the government and an elite minor really know what is best for everyone in this one instance?

I'm certainly tired of my tax dollars being wasted inforcing the war on drugs, imprisonment of someone for selling weed (when more dangerous drugs such as alcohol and cigarettes are legal), when this compound could be creating jobs for American farmers and purchase could be taxed to help pay for better education and healthcare.
