Why do you neglect forearms?

my forearms are naturally big, i do 3 set with biceps every other week, about it...your forearms are used a lot every single day, especially working out in the gym. if i ever decide to compete, that's when i might work them a little harder.

i think it's crazy when there is guys just starting out in the gym, skinny, young, etc..and there in the gym for 45 min working just forearms...i think that is crazy....your forearms get bigger, and strengthens as you go up in weight with other exercises.

I dont have a specific routine for forearms. I am going to get some Captains of Crush grippers, though.

I also never use straps. :D

try this

This is a killer forarm workout. Pull a bench up next to one of thise pully cable things. attach the short straight bar to the clip and put it down all the way. Sit on the bench grabbin your bar with wrists hangin off your knees. Do 3 sets of reverse wrist curls then 3 sets of wrist curls. do dropsets and stuf with them. After that you wont be able to drive home.

If/When we train forearms, we do this:

Haha, not using straps is prob the best way to develop them. Aside from that I do hammer curls and sometimes dumbell holds, once in a while throw in some wrist curls.

I don't use straps on anything. Thats my forearm routine

If I can't grip it, I don't lift it.

When I tried starting a seperate routine for forearms, it was overtraining. They began to become painful, similar to shin spints, but in the forearm.
