Here is how it works in with go ju kai. My sensie won't let me take a dan test (or kyu) until I will pass, however you need to go to Japan to take the official test and the total cost is around 3000.00 CAD. Have I gone yet? No. Will I go when I have an extra $3000.00? Probably.

That was kind of my original point with this guy, sweet.

Sometimes young guys get interested in the martial arts for the wrong reasons. It usually takes a awhile for a good instructor to build their confidence up enough to get them past the "I can kick anyone's ass" mentality. Sometimes never and that's a true shame. You said it better than I did.

I was just having some fun anyway and I promise to lay off.

I really do like boobs a lot better than fishing.

Sorry we don't do that in karate, at least not in go ju kai (or shotokan for that matter). How about this, I'm not going to post anymore on this thread because I'm talking to a bunch of morons who think they're experts on the martial arts. Why am I even wasting my time with you?
