why cant women go top less

I think it is unfair that men can go top less in public. but women can't , a mans chest can turn a woman on as much as a womans chest turns men on.
Women should be aloud to go topless if she feel comfortable doing it . But NO that is indesent and we can get in trouble with the law. Whats your thoughts on that?
 
Unfortunately, this is a case where the evils of allowing women to go topless may far outweigh the positives. I would rather have the hotties leave sometyhing to my imagination than have Betty Fatass and her friend Thelma Boobsolow take it off without warning me first.

Well, we can always make exceptions. May be can issue Bare Boob Permits. Just like a drivers license, you have to pass a few tests to bare em. Sign me up as chief inspector and I am easily bribed . . .

Interesting question - I first wondered this when I was about 12. The answer, I guess, is social and cultural morés - the same reason that, as you say, it is all right in some cultures but not in ours. Similarly, in some cultures it is very acceptable for a woman to breast-feed her baby in public but in other cultures it is not.

Once upon a time I too would have loved to see women be able to go topless...until a visit to Puerto Escondido, Mexico. Sure I saw some nice racks here and there, but it was the naked 300lb water buffalo's with tits hanging down to their knees that I have a problem forgetting.

Not mean, just honest. Why does everyone want to challenge and go against the morals of our society? I mean if there is a good reason that's one thing but really? Who would want to be walking through the mall with their children and having to be subjected to that?
 
Its all about the morals/values/standards as set per the country and or community. When I vacationed in Spain I noticed that its the norm for women to go topless at beaches (not malls), whereby women that cover up are deemed unusual. Children that are subjected to this would have no problem as it is a standard that has been set by society for some time. Sweetness, if you really want to go topless, move to Europe.

in New York State, women can go topless in public (beach street whatever) as long as not acting lewd/sexual or done for commercial purposes. of course in NY, most women are afraid to walk down the street even when wearing a burka and a crash helmet, so no rash of topless women here. law was passed about 10 years ago if i recall.

Well I don't really have to move , Where i live there is nobody around me, very private, I do what i want to anyway. I don,t run around with out my top on. There are plenty of tops you can buy
that are comfortable.

I agree that women going topless should be allowed. If a man goes topless he's not considered to be disrespecting himself. Anytime a woman does anything remotely sexual she's considered to have no morals and yada yada yada. I wonder what makes people so stupid? I Agree...it's another one of those double standards....If I want to run out to the mailbox with just my jeans on....I can't....I have to get all strapped down first. ok....back to boobs..here is my latest story. Today, I was outside laying in the sun in a chair.....i had my bathing suit top on...and all of a sudden.....my boob fell on the concrete and landed on a sand spur!!!If you dont know what those are they are little prickly things that are hard to get out of ur skin .....dammit.....i had to go to the ER and have it removed....my boob is now in a sling...slung over my shoulder as we speak.
