Whole chicken is it ok to cook w/skin on ?

I mean if I take it off to eat it ? Just curious I thought it would be easier but I also thought the skin was full of fat.....
 
Cooking with the skin gives the (great) taste (and just a little fat if you remove it before eating)

The fat and the bone keep it juicier.

It is possible to cook chicken breat without the skin and not have it be dry - you just need to sear it quick and the drop the heat and cook it slow.

It's also juicier on the grill
