Who Is Taking R-ALA?

I'm on a very low carb diet, and taking 200mg 3 times a day. It's been 3 weeks since my last refeed, and normally not only would I have "bonked" by now in my lifts, but I'd be frothing at the mouth for anything remotely carby. Instead, I'm feeling quite strong, and carbs don't interest me nearly as much as they should.

I never experienced this with regular ALA - only smelly pee and the standard glucose disposal feeling. I know r-ALA is supposed to greatly improve glycogen storage, but is a reduction in cravings normal?

Been using it for little over 2 weeks now. Only noticeable change is that I am not as bloated or puffy the morning after a carb laden meal the night before. Usually I would be a least a little puffy. Also noticed some strength gains. I take 1-200mg with carb inclusive meals which for me comes to about 300-600mg daily. Will update at a later time if I have more noticeable effects.

"lowered insulin levels.. MAY, in many cases, lead to reduced cravings"

That's what I was thinking.

I wonder if it would be helpful for those with reactive hypoglycemia?

I've been taking it for about 2 weeks - 200 mg before and 200 mg after my workout drinks - if I have carbs with dinner I take another 100 mg - haven't noticed anything different in the way I feel or look - wondering if its worth even taking?
