Who is 40 or older here?

Ranger is like 60 something heh heh heh
Seriously though, I know we have a couple older bro's on this board. Ironmaster comes to mind and he looks awesome!

M18

48 been lifting 3 years, have a great trainer so results have been
excellent, especially enjoy the younger ones saying i hope i look as good as you when i'm your age. of course i want to say hell you don't look as good as me now. lol, seriously i had never lifted before and now i enjoy my life so much more.

Turned 40 this past Oct. Been competing for the last 2 years in men's open class NPC shows. 10 shows total. Have placed 4th in one show. All other shows 1st or 2nd place as a middle weight.
This year I will be double dipping each show. masters and Mens open. It looks like I might have to start competing as a light heavy. I'm going to come in this next spring at 180# I think.
You can find a pic of me on JohnnyO site.
Later,
K

I am 43 not to sure about the wisdom thing.I have learned more in the last year just from reading this board. and listening to M_18.

I'm 43 and have been lifting for 30 years.
I'm an Olympic lifter, but do general bodybuilding movements a few months out of the year to change my cycle of hitting the OL's all the time.

42 and in by far the best shape of my life. (Will post new pics in a day or two.) Maybe those oldsters were right about life beginning at forty ...

Just turned 50 Dec 4th and in better shape than i was at 30......RADAR

i am only 32yo. but I have been training for 22years. juicing for 9 years. My GF is 48 and she looks awsome! (she is the 2000 masters nat'l champion if you want to do a search for a pic) If you are a platinum member I posted a pic of her on the pics of members board. I have noticed that you can tell the older members on the board when it comes to cycles because they are more sane than the younger guys. Age somtimes imparts wisdom it seems!;)

Hello mods....are you there or did you forget your reading glasses he..he...just kidding......Would be nice if there were some mods that were 40 and up, don't you think dudes?

Good pal of mine is 53 and has been lifting seriously for 36 years and was in with the dudes at Muscle Beach.....way back before most of you were born. He has lots of good tips. I'll try to get him on the board.

MODS surely one is 40 or older?

I turned 40 last May. Been pumping iron practically all my life. I did my first cycle in college when I was 23. Getting married for the first time March 2002 to a sweet little 23 year old. :) The only bummer is that I know someday she’ll end up burying my ass. :(

On bodybuilding—I am making great gains with Geritol site injections and Ensure protein shakes. :mix:

Ironmaster is 53, with over 30 years spent in battle with the iron. I have used every performance enhancer made, and still feel fine.
The moderators are all younger fellows, but very experienced in the ways of our lifestyle.
Jeff_rys is the senior partner here, as far as I can tell. Ranger isn't that old, he is just wise beyond his years.
Gear and GH work well for all.......but they are next to miraculous for those of us who are antiques.

Big 40 next month. Some days I feel like 30, others like 50. Been BB for ten years and love it. Tried this and that, had my good cycles and have had my bad one's. My wisdom.....well that sometimes goes out the door when im trying to keep up with this younger generation.....lol

but only can affort 2 iu/day..................i have high hopes that for older men (like myself) you don't need huge dosages to get results.

I plan on staying at it for a LONG time.....

I'm 42 and have been very curious if gear should be used differently after 40. (I never used it until this year but have lifted since I was a teenager.)

I'm especially curious about its effect on the prostate, erectile function, etc., whether certain drugs are preferable, whether some should be avoided, whether dosages should be modified, etc. I'm also interested in training and age. I switched this year to doing one body part a workout and it made a significant difference.

I wrote George Spellwin some months ago that he would be doing us a favor by starting a board for people over 40 and he agreed, but nothing has happened.

43 and definitely stronger than I ever have been before in my life.

I used to work out at Gold's Venice and I would see all the old guys from the '50s and '60s... they looked great at 70+ years old.

Hunt up a picture of Bob Delmontique (spelling?). He is living proof that the iron lifestyle is the way to live.

I turned 41 in January. Recently reached lifetime bests in bench press, leg press and squats. Running has gotten harder for me , but I'm working on it.

makes me feel good to see many old juicers like myself here on the boards.....hell i've been on and off for over 20 years now i might as well finish off the rest of my life long habit:D

40......going on 25
Feel better then when a was 25
Healing like a teenager
My doc can't blieve how quickly i'm comming back

Had rotator cuff surgery 2/28

41

I'll be 42 shortly. If I only knew then what I know now, what a wonderful life this would be. Actually-life couldnt be better.
PS: I am still getting carded!!!:dance2:
