Who here has to wrap wrists to do certain sets?

Curious as to how many need wrist wraps to do certain sets.
Knee wraps and squats are a given/

I use wrist warps on certain things like some pressing work when the loads get real heavy. But for the most part it's not necessary as all my barbell work is done with a false grip anyway, but when doing DB shoulder pressing I use wraps more for the initial impact of getting the weight up, as once its up the wraps become moot.

But on shrugs

to do the heavier weight, wraps are a must. Have Carpal Tunnel and Id drop the weight on my foot wo even knowing that my grip had failed. The hands go numb.

Are you talking about wraps or straps...I was talking about wraps.

i hafta use wrist straps for all back excercises as i have shattered all the bones in my left hand(southpaw that likes nocking mf's out yo). I can't hold onto db's also when i'm doing shrugs. I might get reconstructive surgery on my hand but it will take me out for quite some time, so fuck it!!!
