Who enjoys this machine??

I hear ya bro I barely use cables lmao.
You know how hard it is to do back with pull ups only?
I use this because its challenging with a better contraction, well IMO anyway

Hahaha I agree fuck cables. If you cant go heavy on it why do it! My gym doesn't really have machines..

This machine would be excellent for the person with shoulder issues. The neutral grip is extremely helpful in those cases. However you are still only lifting a percentage of the weight that is actually on the machine (plates) This is true of any machine that has a central pivot point. It would be more nearly the weight of the plates if they were directly over your hands....
Not necessarily a "bad" machine but still any person will get more from the same movement using free weights.

I was actually thinking of mimicking the same movement or close to it with dumbells, seeing how it felt and the percentage of weight I could do.. Because when I compared to the smith I was doing the same numbers. But I agree strongly with what you said.

I do. I had a scare with regular benching where I almost couldn't get the bar back up and no one around, so I started using that machine. It's great. You can position yourself on the bench to work upper or lower chest, so it's all good. It's my go-to now.

I thoroughly enjoy it. Incorporated it my last 2 chest days, both days I was very well worked got a massive pump and my chest was definitely
Sore haha

Using dbls with a neutral grip is excellent and thats exactly what I do with my old beat up shoulders. But you will need to limit your range of motion. Do it so that your elbows do not go lower then your shoulder blades and no need to lock out at the top. Actually doing it this way is much better at keeping tension on the muscle group too.

dang that looks freaking amazing!

I wish my gym had one of those.

I figured it was good for such.
I felt so much more pumped, as I'd I was utilizing my pec more in a sense

Hmmmm...let me guess...Snap Fitness? I train at a Snap Fitness here in my town when I can't get to Powerhouse Gym, and they have that exact machine, an incline one too. It is good for variety, but does nothing for stabilizer muscles or mimic bench pressing very well, it is like a knockoff Hammer Strength machine...I press 4 plates for my work sets as well...no big deal.
