which vitamins, antioxidents are best, and WHY?

So who makes the best vitamins, antioxidents and the like?

I saw a thing on MDR Nutrition last night (it was on QVC... don't laugh, I was just channel surfing!). They made a big deal about how great their products are.

But what really makes this -- or any other brand -- superior?

The downside about this stuff not being regulated by the FDA is that we really don't have much control over what we're getting.

Thoughts?

Hey... and why did I have to post an image to post to the forum???? It wouldn't let me post otherwise!

I just posted Vin cause it's all I could find!

Actually, I hear that Flaxseed oil will do wonders for making you live longer. Omega-3 fatty acids can prevent more diseases than I can shake a stick at.

vits a,c,e are akways nice. green tea is another different antioxidant. quercitin, beta-carotene, and the other 2 major antioxidants should round you out nicely.

Definately !
Also, Ester C, Oligomeric Proanthocyanidins, Pycnogenol, Superoxide Dismutase, Gluthionone Peroxidase, Selenium, ALA, a string of essential and non essential amino acids (CYSTEINE), and some heavy hitting minerals.

i mean production quality and repuation always help with knowing which are best, but knowing things like Grape Seed Extract is way more potent and cheaper than pycnogenol is a good one to save monye. Maybe topically its different but internally grape seed is better. Tocotrienols are key.....decreasing lipid peroxidation is great way to insure your cardio health. CoQ10--coQsol deilvery method is the best way also. basic ACE, Sel. zinc is good. Adding alpha lipoic ( R type) , garlic, green drink ( GReen vibrance), probiotics hehe. All help over all health in all areas of teh body. But honestly, raw foods, greens ( not all raw), and lots of fruits and vegies are key to health in overall.

Anabolic Laboratories

Anabolic Laboratories by far has the best quaity supplements. Our clinic has access to several different manufacturers and we use Anabolics over all others. They guarantee products for potency and purity.

These are from natural sources and are based on many years of third party research. The research sources are available at the end of each page. There is no heat used in the production as they are capsules and heat is one reason that most "over the counter" products are useless. Some can even do more harm than good.

Yes I market these but I would not market a product that was less than the best. :verygood:

A cheap multi-vitamin from WalMart is fine. There is little reasoning to skimp on vitamins since they are so cheap to manufacture; the majority of the costs of the high priced vitamins are due to marketing costs.

A cheap multi-mineral, along with extra Calcium and Magnesium.

Green Tea extract, alpha-lipoic acid, and acetyl-carnitine are a great all around combo for anti-oxidants.

Yeah, I've been taking these for a year now. The first time I tried it, I took a pack about 30 min before my workout, and I had NOTICEABLE increases in strength and muscle endurance during my workout. This shit is great.

WallMart! The only difference between multi vitamins is cost. Go for a 300tab bottle, should cost you about 7bucks.

you take these in addition to a multi vitamin, or instead of a multi???
I take these in addition to my multi, but to be honest, the packs are so overly complete, you probably don't need to. The only reason I do is because I'm used to taking my multi in the mornings and then the pack gives me extra energy just before my workouts in the evening.
