Because I'ce always said, and wrote it here for years that aspartame is GRAS and that there's no reason not to use it

My humoristic comment, in case you didn't catch it, was refering to all the comments read here and on some crappy websites claiming that aspartame will cause every cancer along with Alzheimer, Parkinson and whatnot
