Which would be better to eat as a meal to start the day...usually around 5:00-5:30am before I go work out at 6:30am.

Grits or oatmeal....or would it really matter?

What is your 6:30 am workout? Weights or cardio??
 
Cardio = whey shake only

Training = complex carb, fat and protein.......my fist meal of the day is always whey and oats......30 mins after cardio. My second is then my bigger meal.....1/2 cup steel cut oats, 1 cup eggs, 250g of dry curd with a couple of berries smashed in.....damn good meal!
