i agree with supersizeme, and he means not doing the same order, or doing 2 one week, a different combination the next etc. i think, by saying switching them up consistently.

I would do all three on leg days for mass, and definately add deadlifts on back days. Those are another great mass gainer.

Any exercise program that exhausts the ATP/CP fuel stores both after a set and creates general depletion after a training session in combination with intake of excess calories (more than your BMR requires) has been scientifically shown to induce hypertrophy most consistantly. Hypertrophy is the central (although not solitary) means by which muscles increase cross sectional area.

There´s no magic exercise.

The squat is by far the best leg builder there is. But, you have to get the technique spot on if you want to get the max out of this class exercise. Im a shit squatter, so dont bother anymore. I do leg presses, power cleans and deadlifts, they are all great leg builders too. If you can squat well, do them, deads, leg presses and start doing power cleans if you can handle them.

I would have to disagree here. If you compare doing 3 or 4 sets of leg extensions(an isolation exercise for the quadriceps) to doing 3 or 4 sets of squats(a compound exercise that hits the quads, hamstrings, calf muscles, glutes as well as the lower back). Basically, when you squat or deadlift(the two most compound movements which hold the greatest potential for muscle growth) with heavy weights, you get a natural surge of both testosterone and growth hormone. Two hormones which have been proven to promote muscle building.
There is an old saying:
'if you want bigger arms.....squat!'

This is true, because when you squat at high intensity, you put your whole body under huge stress. So it does matter which exercise you do for any body part.
keep it compund, keep growing.
