Whey Protein Isolate Now Available in 5lb Bags!

I find your product to be ironic.

From the page:

"According to McKinley Health Center, isolates contain about 90 percent pure whey protein, which is higher than most concentrates. Whey protein isolates are lower in fat and lactose, so they may be a better choice for people who are lactose intolerant. Concentrates contain anywhere from 29 percent to 89 percent protein content. "

From the nutrition label: the product isn't isolate, it's concentrate, since the protein label is 86.66%. 30g per serving. 26g of protein. Hmm.

If you're going to be a lying asshole, it's probably not a good idea to prove you're a lying asshole on the same page as the lie.

You must be confusing our two protein products.

The one we're talking about in this thread is 100% Whey Protein Isolate: Whey Protein Isolate

We do have a new multi-protein blend product coming out called Complete Protein Rx that contains concentrate and several other protein sources: Complete Protein Rx

I hope that clarifies things.

I agree with voxide3, this shit is overpriced.. 70 freaking bucks for 5lb whey isolate?? LMAO, i get 2kg (4.5lb) pure whey isolate by Kaizen from costco and its only 40 bucks.. lol.
For one scoop its got
35g protein
0.3 fat
1g carb
7.5g BCAA..
i dont think any other protein can beat that..

Everything I wrote is correct. You are claiming it is isolate while on the same page saying that it's percentage of protein is concentrate.

Looking forward to your webmaster 'correcting' the quote from McKinley, whoever the hell that is.

Too much time in gym means too little time in math class.

That's pretty good. How many grams are in each scoop?

oh snap.

None of the shit on this forum is good enough to sell itself.

I come on here and all I see is ads for powerchews and shit. $70 fucking dollars for fruit chewables with nothing but creatine and glutamine in them. Anyone who actually buys things from here is an idiot, when you can get BCAA from bb.com at 10 dollars and whey at 80/10lb

I don't think the price is bad for cross flow microfiltration Whey isolate. I tried some optimum nutrition platinum hydro whey a few weeks back and I think it was about $65-70 for 3.5 lbs at Vitamin Shoppe.

In all fairness, The $70 cost on the chews is direct from their site. I think they can be had elsewhere for around $35 bucks. I completely agree with your stance on them, as all i see in the Supplement forum is nothing but rep after rep pumping these chews. There are certainly other products available that give more, at a lower price.

At the end of the day, you just gotta remember they are a sponsor here, so it comes with the territory.

The vitamin shop? Lol. Why would you do such a thing? 58 bucks at BB.com.

Marketing at it's finest!

All I can say is if you guys really think you're buying 100% Pure Whey Protein Isolate at $40 for 5lbs you're a sucker!
That is damn near impossible for any company to do. For those that are unaware whey protein prices have skyrocketed in the past year due to the high demand. At Sam's club you can get EAS whey concentrate for that price, but no way in hell pure isolate, sorry you're wasting your money on CRAP, you would be better off spending that money on more eggs and milk.

Needed something , and a few extra bucks wasn't going to bankrupt me. Went for the usual ON 100% whey, but decided to give this one a shot without price checking ahead of time.

I understood the question to be why its promoted as an isolate when the description classifies it as a concentrate.

Dancing around the question and calling other companies products crap is not cool.

If its not an isolate then say so.

Where on our label or website does it say its a concentrate? Let me repeat, its 100% pure whey isolate CFM!

I never called any specific company crap, I am saying there is no way you can buy pure whey isolate for the prices they are saying here. So if a manufacturer is selling whey protein and claiming its pure isolate for that price I want to see their COA's!

What he was pointing out is that you list the product as "Let me repeat, its 100% pure whey isolate CFM!"

It a 30g serving that provides 26g of protein per serving. SO when you do the math (26/30x100) you are only getting 86.66% or 87% per serving. Based on your article on the same page that classifies it as a concentrate, NOT an isolate. Math is math. doesnt lie.

Im not arguing that your product isnt good. Im sure its great. I am always interested in what a label says and whats provided. You stated yourself in another post that supplements are not regulated by the FDA.

Fyi at that price, there are alot of companies selling 100% whey or whey isolate products providing OVER 90% per serving. Im not posting those brands or product names out of respect for your post.

The serving size is 30g. The amount of protein in that 30g is 26g. That means this is 86.666% protein and 13.444% other stuff. So, it is not protein isolate......

If you think there's a difference between "100%" pure "isolate" and ON Gold standard, you're the sucker.

Using your logic, what's the point in using supplements at all when we can all just go buy eggs and milk?

ONLY 40 bucks at costco.. LMAFO

dang i should hit up costco. Not that I use powders that often, but if I ever run out of big blast, I will.

I dont know if they sell it in US, i live in Canada BC Vancouver..
Thier website is kaizenprotein.com, if you're wondering..

Alright thanks. I just got 3 pounds of big blast, and this stuff has nitrogen retention and blood serum protein, so its above just a regular protein. Might combine Gear with a regular protein instead of taking big blast and gear to keep me from breaking the bank
