I think those are some great principles, and something every bodybuilder should definitly try to incorporate into their training.
Maybe 3 weeks into your current training split, start thinking of ways to switch it up so when week 4-6 rolls around you are prepared for your new system. Planning things in advance is a great way to make sure you don't get lazy and stay with the same plan to maximize muscle confusion, resulting in maximum growth.
